Alif-Lâm-Râ. These are the Verses of the Wise Book.

Did it seem strange to men that We revealed to a man from among themselves, (saying): “Warn the people and give good news to those who believe (who wish to submit Him their spirit, physical body, soul und free will)”? For them there is a Rank of Sıddik (Faithfulness) with their Lord. The disbelievers say: “This is most surely an obvious magician”.

Surely your Lord Allah is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, then positioned Himself over the Heaven of Heavens. (He) regulates the affairs and there is no intercessor except after His Permission. This is Allah, your Lord. Be a servant to Him. Do not you still deliberate?

To Him is the comeback of all of you. The Promise of Allah is true. Surely, He begins the creation in the first instant. Then those who believe (who wish their spirits to reach Allahbefore death) and do righteous acts (that cleanse their souls’ hearts) are returned to Him, that He may reward them with justice. And as for those who disbelieve, for them there will be a drink from boiling water and painful torment because they denied.

He it is Who made the sun a Radiance and the moon a light. And measured out for it stages that you might know the numbers and the computation of years. Whatever Allah created, created with truth. He explains the verses separately for people who know.

Most surely in the variation of the night and the day and what Allah has created in the heavens and the earth, there are Signs (proofs) for a people who are the owners of takwa (spiritual armor).

Surely, they do not wish to reach Us (they do not wish to redeem their spirits back to us before death). They are pleased with the life of the world and they have reached saturation with it. And they do not know Our Verses.

They will enter the Fire for what they have earned (negative degrees).

Surely those who believe (who are âmenû, who wish their spirits to reach Allah before death) and do righteous acts (cleanse their soul), their Lord will deliver them to Return due to their Faith. They are in the paradises of Delight (Cannâtin Naîm) that rivers flow under them.

Their call in it (will be): “Glory be to You, O Allah”! And their greetings in it will be: “Peace”. And the close of their call will be: “All praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds”.

And if Allah were to hasten the evil to men as they would hasten on the good, their doom (term allowed to them) would have been fulfilled for them. But We leave those alone who do not wish to reach Us (while they are living in this world) in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on.

And when harm touches man, he invokes Us, lying on his side, sitting or standing. But when We remove the harm from him, he passes on as if he had never invoked Us for a harm that touched him. Thus it is made fair-seeming to the unbridled which they used to do.

And certainly We did destroy generations before you when they tyrannized. And their Messengers had come to them with clear proofs. And they did not believe. That is how we punish the guilty people.

Then We made you vicegerents in the earth after them so that We may see how you act.

And when Our clear Verses were recited to them, those who do not wish to reach Us (while they are alive) said: “Bring a Qur’ân other than this, or change it”. Say: “It is not for me to change it based on my own soul. I only follow what is revealed to me. Surely, I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the torment of a Greatest Day”.

Say: “If Allah had so willed, I would not have recited It to you, nor would I have made It known to you. Yet I have stayed among you a whole lifetime before It”. Do not you then exercise your mind?

So, who is more tyrant than a person who invents a lie with slanders about Allah or denies His signs? Surely, He does not cause the guilty to attain Salvation.

And they worship besides Allah that can neither harm nor profit them (idols). And they say: “These are our intercessors with Allah”. Say: “Do you inform Allah of what He does not know in the heavens and the earth”? Glory be to Him, and supremely Exalted is He above what they associate with Him.

And mankind was none other, but one community. Then later they differed. Had not a Word already gone forth from your Lord, the matter would have certainly been decided between them regarding what they differed.

And they say: “Why is a sign not sent down to him from his Lord”? Say: “The Unseen is only for Allah; therefore, wait, surely I too, with you, am of those who wait”.

And when We give the people a taste of mercy after adversity has touched them, at once they plot against Our verses (mock and reject their). Say: “Allah is Swifter in plotting”. Certainly, Our messengers write down (record) what you plot.

He is Who moves you by land and sea. Even you were in the ships, and they were sailing on with them in a pleasant breeze. And they rejoiced in it. A hurricane wind overtook them and the billows surged in on them from all sides. They assumed that they were encompassed about. And they, with inherent purity in religion, sincerely (with all their hearts) prayed to Allah: “If You deliver us from this, we shall truly be of the grateful ones”.

But when He saves them, at once they commit injustice upon the earth without right. O mankind! Your rebellion is against your own souls, enjoyment of the life of this world, then to us will be your comeback. So, We will inform you of what you used to do.

The example of the worldly life is but like rain which We have sent down from the sky that the plants of the earth absorb which from men and livestock eat. Even when the earth clads in its adornments and is beautified, its people think that they have all the powers of disposal over it. Our Command came to it, by night or by day, so We rendered it as reaped seed-produce (a clean-mown harvest) as if it had not flourished yesterday. Thus, do We explain the Verses in detail for a people who reflect.

And Allah invites to the Abode of submission (Peace) and guides whom He wills (to cause to reach the Abode of submission, to His Presence) to Sırati Mustakîm (the path of guidance that leads to Allah).

For them there is Ahsenûl Husnâ (the best of the best) (reaching the Essence of Allah) and even more (seeing His Countenance). No sadness, nor humiliation will cover their faces. Those are people of Paradise, in it they shall abide forever.

And those who have earned evil deeds, the recompense of an evil deed is the like of it; and abasement shall cover them. They shall have no protector from Allah as if their faces had been covered with slices of the dense darkness of night. These are the inmates of the Fire, in it they shall abide forever.

And on the Day We will gather them altogether, then We will say to those who idolaters: In places - you and your idols!” Then We separated widely one from another and their idols (partners) said: “You were not just worshiping us (you worshiped both Allah and us).

Therefore Allah is Sufficient as a Witness between us and you that we were quite unaware of your worshipping (us)”.

There (on earth), every soul will be tested with what was in the past and they will be brought back to Allah - to their True Friend. What they slandered escaped (diverted) from them.

Say: “Who gives you sustenance from the heaven and the earth? Or Who owns the (sense of) hearing and the (sense of) sight? And Who brings forth the living from the dead, and brings forth the dead from the living? And who regulates the affairs”? Then they will say: “Allah”. Say then: “Will you not then be the owners of takwa (spiritual armor)”?

This is then Allah, your Lord the True One. What is there after the Truth but being in Darkness? How are you then turned away (got astray from the Truth)?

Thus the word of your Lord has come into effect upon those who were ungodly. Verily they do not believe.

Say: "Which of your idols can create for the first time incomparably, and then brings it back (to its original position)?" Say: "Allah initially creates incomparably, and then returns it back. If so, how are you turned away?"

Say: “Is there any of your idols who turn to Hakk (return spirit to Allah)”? Say: “Allah delivers to Return”. Is He then Who return to Truth more worthy to be depended on, or he who himself does not attain Return unless he is not made to attain Return? What then is the matter with you, how do you judge?

And most of them do not follow anything but conjecture. Surely, by conjecture it is impossible to earn anything from the Truth (Allah). Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what they do.

And it was not for this Qur'an to be produced by other than Allah. But it is a confirmation of that which was before it and a detailed explanation of the Book. There is no doubt in it, (it is) from the Lord of the Worlds.

Or do they say: “He has forged it”? Say: “Then bring a Sûrah (a chapter) like this and invite whom you can besides Allah, if you are truthful”.

No, but they have denied that the knowledge of which they could not comprehend and the interpretation of it has not yet come to them. Those before them did belie as well. See then what the end of the tyrants was.

And of them is he who believes in it, and of them is he who does not believe in it. Your Lord best knows those who spread lawlessness.

And if they belie you, say: “For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do”.

And there are those of them who listen to you. But can you make the deaf to hear, even though they are not mindful?

And there are those of them who look at you, but can you deliver the blind (whose sense of seeing is not functioning) to Return (their spirit Allah)?

Truly, Allah does nothing to harm (injustice) people, but people do evil (injustice) to their souls.

And on the Day (Allah) shall gather them together as if they had not stayed but an hour of a day, they will recognize each other (they will get acquainted). The losers will be those who refuted the meeting (before death) with Allah and could not become those who Return (could not deliver their spirits to Allah).

And if We show you something of what We promised them or cause you to die, yet to Us is their comeback. And Allah is the Bearer of Witness to what they used to do.

For every nation there is a Messenger (Rasul); and when their Messenger comes, the matter is decided between them with justice and they are not wronged.

And they say: “When will this promise come about, if you are truthful”?

Say: “I have no power over any harm or benefit to my soul except what Allah may will”. For every nation there is an appointed term. When their term comes, they cannot put it off an hour nor can they hasten it.

Say: “Have you considered (what) if His torment should come to you by night or by day”? So, what do the guilty (sinners) hastily want from Him?

Will you believe in Him after it (the torment) happens, or now? After all, you hurriedly wanted it.

And then it was said to the tyrants: “Taste the everlasting torment”! Will you be requited except for what you used to earn?

And they will ask you to inform them: Is that true? Say: “Yes, by my Lord”! It is most surely the truth and you are not they who can make (Allah) impotent.

And, truly, every soul that deed evil, as soon as it sees the torment, hiding its regret, would certainly give everything even if everything that is on earth belonged to it. And it was decided between them in justice, and no harm will be done to them.

Now surely Allah’s is what is in the heavens and the earth, are they not? Now surely Allah’s Promise is true, but most of them do not know.

He gives life and causes death and to Him you shall be brought back.

O mankind! There has come to you indeed an admonition from your Lord and a healing for what is in your breasts (vices in your soul’s hearts) and Return (submission of spirit, physical body, soul and free will to Allah) and Mercy (light) for the believers.

Say: “Let them rejoice in Allah’s generosity (light) and in His Mercy (light)”. That is better than (the worldly riches) they amass.

Say: “Have you seen what Allah has sent down for you of sustenance? Then you made (a part) of it unlawful and (a part) lawful”? Say: “Has Allah permitted you; or do you forge a lie against Allah”?

And what is the supposition of those who slander with lies against Allah on the Day of Resurrection? Most surely Allah is the Owner of generosity towards mankind, but most of them are ungrateful.

And you are not in any affair, nor do you recite concerning any portion of the Qur’ân, nor do you do any deed but We are witnesses over you when you are deeply engrossed therein. And nothing is hidden from your Lord so much as the weight of an atom in the earth or in the heaven, nor any thing less than that nor greater, but it is in Kitab-ı Mübîn (a Clear Book).

Surely no fear comes upon the friends of Allah nor do they grieve, do they?

They are the believers (they became âmenû, who wished spirit to reach Allah before death) and became the owners of takwa (spiritual armor).

For them are glad tidings in the life of the present world and the Hereafter. No change can there be in the Words of Allah. This is indeed Fevzu’l Azîm (the Supreme Success).

Let their words not grieve you. Surely all Power and Honor is Allah’s. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

Surely whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on earth is Allah’s, are they not? What do they follow those who call (worship) on the associates besides Allah? They do not follow anything but conjectures, and they only suppose (lie).

He it is Who made for you the night that you might rest in it, and the day to make things visible. Most surely there are Signs in it for a people who would hear.

They said: “Allah has taken a son”! Glory be to Him (He is excepted of such thing). He is the Richest (Free of all needs, Self- sufficient). His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth. You have no proof for this. Do you say against Allah what you do not know?

Say: “Most surely those who slander with lie against Allah shall not have Salvation”.

(There is) a provision in this world. Then to Us shall be their comeback. Then We shall make them taste a severe torment because they used to deny (disbelieve).

And recite to them the news of Noah. He had said to his people: “O my people! If my stay (with you) and my reminding of the Verses of Allah is hard on you, then I put my trust in Allah. Then you and your associates, resolve upon your affairs, then let not your affairs be a worry to you. Then have it executed against me and give me no respite”.

But if you turn away, I do not ask for any reward from you either. (If any) my reward is only with Allah, and I am commanded to be of those who got submitted to Him.

But they belied him. Then We delivered him and those with him in the Ark and We made them vicegerents and drowned those who belied Our Verses. See then what the end of the warned was.

But they did not become believers (that is, after the Return they comeback to wickedness a third time) because they refuted it before (that is, they refuted it after the first and second returned). This is how We immure the hearts of those who cross the line forever!

Then We sent after them Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh and his elites with our Verses, but they behaved arrogantly and became a guilty people.

So when the truth came to them from Us, they said: “This is most surely a clear magic”.

Moses (AS) said: "Really, when the truth comes to you, do you say that it is magic? Whereas magicians cannot reach Salvation."

They said: “Have you come to us to turn us away from what we found our fathers upon and that the greatness in the land should be for you two? And We are not going to believe in you two”.

And Pharaoh said: “Bring to me every well-versed magician”.

And when the sorcerers came, Moses said to them: “Cast down what you have to cast”.

So when they cast down, Moses said to them: “What you have brought is magic; Allah will surely make it vain”. Surely, Allah will not make righteous the deeds of those who spread lawlessness!

And Allah will establish the truth, even if the guilty ones dislike it.

But none believed in Moses, except the offspring of his people, because of the fear of Pharaoh and his elites, lest he should cause them mischief. And, surely, Pharaoh was a despot on earth. And, verily, he was of the unbridled.

And Moses said: “O my people! If you believe in Allah (if you wish their spirits to reach Allah before death) and submit to Him, then put your trust in Him”.

So they said: “In Allah we put our trust. O our Lord! Do not make us a trial for the tyrant people

and deliver us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people”.

We revealed to Moses and his brother: “Build for your people houses to dwell in Egypt, and make your houses a kiblah (direction for prayer) and keep up the prayer and give glad tidings to the believers”.

And Moses said: “Our Lord! You have indeed given to Pharaoh and his elite finery and wealth in this world’s life, our Lord! May all that lead them astray from Your Way! Our Lord! Destroy their wealth and tighten their hearts. So they will not believe until they see the painful torment”.

(Allah) said: “The prayer of you both has indeed been answered (accepted). And both of you, maintain (yourself for religion and continue to invite to Allah). Follow not the way of those who do not know (and are separated from) Me”.

And We carried the Son's of Israel through the sea. So, Pharaoh and his army followed them in oppression and enmity. When the flood overtook him, he said: “I believe that there is no god but He in Whom the Son's of Israel believe and I am of those who submit (to Allah)”.

Now (are you submitting)? And indeed, you were rebellious before and you were of those who spread lawlessness.

So, We will this day save your body that you may be a Sign to those after you. And most surely the majority of the people are heedless of Our Verses.

And certainly We settled the Children of Israel in a beautiful dwelling-place. And We provided them with good and clean (permissible) things. Then they did not differ until the knowledge had come to them. Surely your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection in that in which they used to differ.

So if you are in doubt as to what We have sent down to you, ask those who read the Book before you. Certainly the truth has come to you from your Lord, therefore never be of the doubters.

And be not one of those who belie the Verses of Allah. Then (otherwise) you shall be one of the losers.

Surely, they deserved the Word of your Lord upon them. They do not believe,

and even if all the verses should come to them and even when they see the painful torment.

Was it not possible that the inhabitants of at least one country would become amenu and their faith would benefit them? When the people of Jonah believed (became Amenu), We removed from them the humiliating torment in this world’s life and provided them till a certain time.

And if your Lord had willed, surely all those who are in the earth would have believed altogether. Will you then force men till they become believers?

100

And it cannot be that a person (soul) to become a believer (a Mumin) without the Permission of Allah. And (Allah) casts punishment on those who are not mindful.

Say: “Observe what is in the heavens and earth”! But of no avail will be Verses or warnings to a people who are not become Amenu (believe).

102

Or do they expect the days like the ones before them? Say: “Wait then! Surely I too am with you of those who wait”.

103

Then We save Our Messengers and those who are âmenû (who believe). It is binding on Us to save the believers.

104

Say: “O mankind! If you are in doubt as to my religion, then I do not worship those whom you worship besides Allah. But I do serve Allah, Who will cause you to die. And I am commanded that I should be of the believers”.

105

And direct your face towards the Religion as a Hanîf and never be of the polytheists.

106

Do not pray upon things besides Allah on that which can neither benefit you nor harm you. But if you do then, surely you will be in that case of the tyrants

107

And if Allah touches you with harm (adversity), then there is none who can remove it but He. And if He intends any good for you, there is none who can repel His generosity. (He) causes it to reach whomever of His servants He wills. And He is the Most Forgiving (Replacing sins with good), the Most Merciful (Owner of Light Rahmet).

108

Say: “O mankind! Indeed, the truth has come to you from your Lord”! Whoever then has attained Return (the spirit to Allah), he has surely attained Return for his own soul and whoever has gone astray, he has gone astray only against (to the detriment of) it (the responsibility for it is upon him) and I am not a surrogate over you.

And obey what is revealed to you! And be patient until Allah should give judgment, and He is the Best of the judges.

At-Tawbah

Hud

وَاتَّبِعْ مَا يُوحَىٰ إِلَيْكَ وَاصْبِرْ حَتَّىٰ يَحْكُمَ اللَّهُ ۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ

Vattabi’ mea yoohea ilayka vaasbir haattea yaahkumaalleahu, va huva haayrul heakimeen(heakimeena).

And obey what is revealed to you! And be patient until Allah should give judgment, and He is the Best of the judges.
