Saba Verse 54 - And a gulf barrier is set between them | Tezekkur

Praise to Allah, Whose is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and to Him is due praise in the Hereafter. And He is the All-Wise, the All-Aware.

(Allah) knows whatever goes down into the earth and whatever comes forth from it, what descends from the heaven and what ascends to it. And He is the Most Merciful (the One Who sends the light of Mercy), the Oft-Forgiving (Replacing sins with good).

And the unbelievers said: "The (the Day of Resurrection) hour will not come for us."Say: "Nay! My Lord, the Knower of the Unseen, will certainly bring it to you. In heavens and on earth, nothing is hidden from Him, not even a grain of sand, so that not to be in the Clear Book".

This (the coming of the Hour is for) that He may reward those who believe (who wish their spirits to reach Allah before death) and do righteous deeds (having obeyed the Holy teacher, do half of the soul's cleansing). These it is for whom is Forgiveness (the replacement of sins with good) and a generously provision.

And as for those who strive hard in weaken Our Verses, for them of painful torments there are disgusting torments!

And those to whom the knowledge has been given see that what is sent down to you from your Lord is the truth and that it guides on the Path (on Sıratı Mustakîm) of the Majestic, the Praised (Allah).

And those who disbelieve said: “Shall we point out to you a man who informs you that, when you are completely disintegrated into parts (when your body decayed after dying), you shall then be most surely created into a new creation?

Has he slandered against Allah with a lie? Or is there madness in him?” Nay, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are in the Torment and in the Remote Darkness.

Do they not see that (areas) in front of and behind the heavens and the earth? If We will, We will cast them into the depths of the earth, or we will drop debris from the sky on them. Indeed, in this, of course, there is a sign (lesson) for everyone who is a converted slave (for everyone who wishing to return spirit to Him).

And I swear, We gave David from Us a (light) Generosity (We purified his soul). O mountains, turn to Me with him and o the birds (you too)! And We made the iron soft to him too.

Make long (wide) chain mail (that covers the body) and tie it in form of plexuses (links), and do righteous deeds (do the soul’s cleansing through by praising the name of Allah)! Truly, I am All-Seer of what you do.

And We gives under command Suleiman the wind, which, leaving in the morning, overcomes the distance of a month and returning in the evening, overcomes the distance of a month. And We caused a source of molten copper to flow for him. And of the jinn there were those who worked for him by the Permission of his Lord. Whosoever of them turn aside from Our Command, We made him taste of the torment of the blazing fire.

They were making for him what he willed of sanctuaries (palaces, masjids, tall buildings) and statues, and large bowls like pools and fixed cauldrons. O family of David work giving thanks (to Allah)! And very few of My servants are grateful.

When We decreed death for him, nothing showed his death to them but a termite that ate away his staff. Only when he fell down, it (his death) became clear to the jinns (then the jinns understood he was dead). If they had known the Unseen, they would not have stayed in the humiliating torment.

I swear, that the two gardens on the right and on the left for the people of Seba in their dwelling places was indeed a Sign. Eat of the sustenance of your Lord and give thanks to Him! This is a beautiful city! And the Lord is Oft- Forgiving (Replacing sins with good)!

But they turned aside. So, We sent upon them Arim flood, and We converted their two gardens into gardens producing bitter fruit, and trees without fruit, and a few spoiled cedar trees.

Thus We punished them because of their denial. Do We punish any but the disbelievers?

And between them and the towns that We have made prosperous, We have placed towns located at a close distance from each other, and made paths to journey therein (and said): "Travel through them night and day in complete safety".

But they said: “Our Lord! Make spaces to be longer between our journeys” and they wronged themselves. So, We made them as tales (narrated from generation to generation) and scattered them with an utter scattering. Most surely there are Signs (lessons) in this for every very patient, grateful one.

And I swear, that Iblis (Satan) fulfilled his assumption (purpose) regarding them, and they obeyed him (Satan), with the exception of one group

And he (Iblis) did not have any power (influence, impact) over them. This (test by Iblis) in order for Us to recognize and distinguish the one who believes in the Last Day (in the return of the spirit to Allah during life) from the one who is in doubt about it (about the return of the spirit of Allah’u during life). And your Lord is the Preserver of all things!

Say: "Call those whom you value (the gods you assert) instead of Allah! They have no power even over a particle’s in heaven and on earth, and they have no part in them (in heaven and on earth), and nor is there for Him (Allah) from among them any helper.

And intercession does not profit in His Presence except for him He permits”. When fear is banished from their hearts, they said: “What is it that your Lord said”? They said: “The truth”. And He is the Majestic, the Most Great.

Say: “Who provides you from the heavens and the earth”? Say: “Allah”. And most surely, we or you are on Return (wished to return the spirit of Allah to death) or in manifest Darkness.

Say: “You will not be asked of the crimes we committed, nor shall we be questioned of what you did”.

Say: “Our Lord will gather us together, then will He judge between us with the equitably”. And He is the Fettah (the One who Judges with equitably), the All- Knowing.

Say: “Show Me those whom you have joined as associates” (the idols that you have associated with Allah). By no means. Nay (they cannot be associated with Allah)! He is Allah, the Majestic, the All-Wise.

And We have not sent you except as a giver of glad tidings and a Warner to all mankind (in the universe), but most people do not know.

And they say: “When is this promise (the Day of Resurrection) if you are truthful”?

Say: “You cannot postpone the hour of the Day that is (appointed) for you for an hour nor put forward”.

And those who disbelieve said: “We never believe in this Qur’an and what had formerly (in the Gospel). If you could see these tyrants when they are arrested before their Lord. They exchange words amongst each other! Those who were despicable say to those who were arrogant: “Had it not been for you, we would certainly have been believers”.

Those who were arrogant said to those who were despicable: “Did we turn you away from the Return (of your spirit to Allah) after it had come (submission) to you”? Nay, you (yourselves) were to blame.

And those who were despicable said to those who were arrogant: “Nay, (your job was) plotting by night and day. You were ordering us to deny Allah and to set up equals to Him”. They conceal their regret when they see the torment. We put fetters on the necks of those who disbelieved.

And to whatever country We sent Our Warner, its prosperous nobility did not say anything but: "Verily, we deny what is sent with you (the commands of Allah, the Qur'an)."

And they said: “We are more than you in wealth and children, and we shall not be tormented”.

Say: “Surely my Lord expands (increases) and narrows (reduces) the provision of whom He wills, but most people do not know”.

And your wealth or your children are not valuable enough to bring you to Our presence, except those who believe and do righteous deeds (cleanse half of the vices of their souls and completely destroy them). These it is for whom is a double reward for what they do, and they are in high ranks in the secure ones.

And those who strive to weaken Our verses, behold, they will be ready for the (worst) torment.

Say: "Surely, my Lord expands (increases) and narrows (reduces) the provision of whichever of His servants He wills. And whatever you give, He will compensate you. Indeed, He is the Best of those who give a provision!"

And on that Day He will gather them all together, then He will say to the angels: “Were these who worshipped you”?

They (the angels) said: “Glory be to You! They are not our Friend but You. Nay! They were worshipping the jinns. Most of them are the believers in them (in what the jinns said)”.

So on that Day you will possess no use nor harm one for another. We will say to those who were tyrants: “Taste the torment of the Fire which you refuted”.

And when Our Verses were clearly recited to them, they said: “This is naught but a man who desires to turn you away from that which your fathers used to worship”. And they said: “This is nothing but a lie that is forged”. And those who disbelieved said of the truth when it came to them: “This is nothing but evident magic”.

And We have not given them any Books which they study, nor did We send to them before you a Warner (a Prophet who warns).

Refuted and those before them, and they have not (even) attained a tenth of what We gave them. Yet, they still refuted Our Messengers. Then how was (punishment for) My denial?

Say: “I sermon you only one thing. Rise up (stand up) for Allah in pairs and singly, then ponder”. There is no madness in your owner. He is only a Warner to you for the severe torment before you (that will come to you).

Say: “I did not ask any reward of you. Then let it (that reward) be yours. My reward (reward) is only with Allah and He is a Witness over all things”.

Say: "Verily, my Lord will manifest the truth. He is the All-Knower of the Unseen!"

Say: "Truth has manifested, and falsehood will not be able to manifest (anything) and bring back!"

Say: “If I am in Darkness, I am in Darkness upon (because of) my own soul, and if I attain Return (I will return my spirit to Allah in life), it is because of what my Lord reveals to me”. Surely, He is All-Hearing, Ever Near (to all things).

And if you see when they are terrified. Then there shall be no escape and they are seized upon from a near place (to Hell).

And they said, "We believed in Him." But how will they acquire it (faith) in such a far (from Return) place (from being Astray, from Hell)?

And before they denied it (turned, heaven, hell) and they hurled empty (words) at the Unseen from a distance place (from being Astray).

And a gulf (barrier) is set between them and that which they desired, as was done with the likes of them before. Surely they were in a oppressive doubt.

34:54

Al-Ahzab

Fatir

وَحِيلَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ مَا يَشْتَهُونَ كَمَا فُعِلَ بِأَشْيَاعِهِمْ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا فِي شَكٍّ مُرِيبٍ

Va heela baynahum va bayna mea yashtahoona kamea fuila bi ashyeaihim min kaabl(kaablu), innahum keanoo fee shakkin mureeb(mureebin).

And a gulf (barrier) is set between them and that which they desired, as was done with the likes of them before. Surely they were in a oppressive doubt.
