The Resurrection

Nay, by the Day of Resurrection.

And nay, by the accusing (blaming) soul

Does man think that we can never put his bones together again (after death)?

Nay, We are even able to remold the very tips of his fingers.

Nay, man desires to pass what is before him (the time) in Fisk and Fucur (transgression and sin).

He asks: “When is the Day of Resurrection”?

So when the sight becomes dazed with fear.

And (when) the moon becomes dark.

And (when) the sun and the moon are made to join together.

Man shall say on that Day of Permission: “Where is the place to flee”?

Nay, there is no place of refuge.

The decided place on the Day of Permission is the Presence of your Lord.

On the Day of Permission the man shall be informed of what he sent before (he had done) and (what he) put off (he had not done).

Nay, the man is a witness against his own soul.

And even if he were to put forth his excuses.

Do not move your tongue with him (Gabriel) to make haste with it (to memorize the Qur’an).

Surely on Us is the collecting and the reciting (reading) of it.

Therefore when We recite (read) it, then follow its (Qur’an’s) recital.

Then it is certainly on Us to explain it.

Nay, but you love the fleeting (life of this world).

And you abandon the Hereafter.

There are radiant faces on the Day of Permission.

Looking at their Lord.

And on the Day of Permission there are gloomy (frowning) faces.

Knowing that he will be ill treated.

Nay, when it (the soul) comes up to the collarbone (comes to the throat during death).

And it is said: “Who is the one who will save”?

And he realized that he is parting (from the world, as he is dying).

And one leg will be crossed with the other leg.

To your Lord on the Day of Permission is the transfer.

But he did not confirm nor did he pray.

And but he belied and turned away!

Then he went to his family in arrogance.

This is what you deserve, after all you deserved it!

Then this is what you deserve, well you deserved it.

Does the man think that he is to be left uncontrolled (free of responsibility)?

Was he not a Nutfah (a drop of sperm) of semen emitted?

Then it became Alaqa (an embryo). Then (Allah) created him, later designed (fashioned) him.

Then made of him a pair, the male and the female.

Is not He (who did all this) able to give life to the dead?

75:1

Al-Muddathir

Al-Insan

لَا أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

Lea uksimu bi yavmil kıyeamah(kıyeamati).

Nay, by the Day of Resurrection.
