The Sovereignty

Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the Dominion, and He is Omnipotent.

It is He Who has created death and life that He may try you which of you is best in deed. And He is the Majestic, the Oft-Forgiving (replacing your sins with good).

It is He Who has created skies in seven layers. You see no disharmony in the creation of the All-Merciful. So, turn your gaze (look again), do you see any rift (crack)?

Then turn back your look two more times. Your look shall come (back) to you weakened and fatigued.

And certainly We have adorned the world’s sky with candles and We have made them rocks for the satans (to be thrown at them). And We have prepared for them the torment of the blazing Fire.

And for those who deny their Lord is the Torment of Hell. And how evil as a destination.

When they were cast therein (in hell), they heard the scary boiling (roaring) sound of it.

It (hell) almost bursts up with its anger. Whenever a group is cast therein, its (hell) keepers asked them: “Did no warner come to you”?

They (people of hell) said: “Yes, indeed a warner had come to us, but we belied him and said: ‘Allah never sent down anything, you are only in a great Darkness’”.

And they said: “If we had heard or pondered, we would not have been among the inmates of the blazing Fire”.

So they confessed their sins. Then let the inmates of the Fire be far (from Allah’s Mercy)!

Certainly they have piety to their Lord in the Unseen, for them are replacement of sins for good and a Great Reward.

And conceal your word or manifest it. Surely, He (Allah) is All-Knowing of what is in the hearts.

Would not the Creator know (what He created)? And He is the Most Kind, the All- Aware.

He it is Who has made the earth subservient to you. Therefore, go about on its expanses (on it, on mountains, valleys), and eat of His sustenance. And the resurrection and gathering is to Him.

Do you feel secure that He (Allah) Who is in the heaven will not cause the earth to sink (don't sink) with you, when it (the earth) quakes?

Or do you feel secure that He (Allah) Who is in the heaven will not send (send) down upon you a storm (with stones)? Then you shall know soon how was My warning.

And indeed those before them also belied. Then how was My torment?

Do they not see the birds above them in lines, spreading out their wings and folding them? None upholds them except the All-Merciful. Surely, He is the All-Seer of everything.

Or who are these soldiers to assist you besides the All-Merciful? The disbelievers are only in arrogance (deception).

Or who are these people who will give you sustenance if He (Allah) should withhold (stop) his sustenance? Nay, they insisted in crossing the line and being distant (from the Truth).

Then, is he who goes prone upon his face is in more return or he who walks upright upon Sıratı Mustakîm (the path of guidance that leads to Allah)?

Say: “He it is Who constructed you (created you from nothing into a being) and gave you the senses of hearing, seeing and comprehending. How little thanks you give”!

Say: “He it is who multiplied and spread you in the earth and to Him you shall be gathered”.

And they say: “When shall this promise (threat of torment) come to pass (be fulfilled) if you are telling the truth”?

Say: “This knowledge is only in the Presence Allah and I am only a plain warner (of Allah’s torment)”.

But when they saw it closely, the faces of those who disbelieved turned black and they were told: “This is that which (the Torment) you used to ask (when it would come to pass)”.

Say: “Have you seen; If Allah should destroy me and those with me, or He has mercy upon us; yet who will deliver the disbelievers from a painful torment”?

Say: “He is the All-Merciful, we believed in Him (wished our spirit to return to Allah)) and in Him we put our trust”, so you shall come to know soon who it is that is manifest Darkness.

Say: “Have you seen; if all your water were to sink down the earth, who is it then that will bring you flowing water”?

67:30

قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَصْبَحَ مَاؤُكُمْ غَوْرًا فَمَنْ يَأْتِيكُمْ بِمَاءٍ مَعِينٍ

Kul a ra’aytum in aasbaahaa meaukum gaavran fa man ya’teekum bi maaeen maaeen(maaeenin).

Say: “Have you seen; if all your water were to sink down the earth, who is it then that will bring you flowing water”?
