The Dawn

I swear by the dawn,

and by ten nights,

and by the pair and Those Who are one

and the night when it is about to pass away.

Is there not in that an oath for those who are mindful?

Have you not seen what your Lord did to the people of Âd,

To the city of Iram with many pillars,

Nothing like it was created amongst the other cities,

And to (the people of) Thamûd who hewed out the rocks in the valleys,

And to the Pharaoh, the owner of stakes?

That they were rampant in the cities (lands).

So they increased lawlessness therein.

Therefore your Lord whipped them the whip of torment.

Most surely your Lord is indeed the most Watchful.

And as for human, whenever his Lord tries him, then treats him with generosity and bestows blessings on him, then he says: "My Lord has honored me generously".

And but when he tries him, then gives his sustenance in a measure (straitens it), then he says: “My Lord has betrayed me”.

Nay! Indeed, you do not regale the orphan

nor do you encourage one another to feed the needy,

and you eat away the inheritance, devouring with greed.

And you love wealth with an exceeding love.

Nay! When the earth is made to crumble into pieces and scatter,

And when your Lord comes and the angles get into in rows,

And that Day (of Permission) hell had been brought near. On that Day (of Permission) human deliberates (becomes mindful) and how this remembrance (being mindful) avail him?

He says: "Oh, if only I present (good deeds) for the (heavenly) life (during the worldly life)!"

So on that Day of Permission none can torment like His (Allah’s) Torment

And none can bind like His binding.

O satiated soul!

Return to your Lord, well-pleased (with Allah), and with Allah’s pleasure!

(O physical body!) Then enter among My servants (when you have cleansed your soul’s heart and made your spirit returns Allah)

And enter My paradise.

89:30

Al-Ghashiyah

Al-Balad

وَادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي

Vadhulee cannatee.

And enter My paradise.
