Qaf Verse 45 - We know best what they say | Tezekkur

Qaf

Qâf. By the Honorable Qur’ân.

Nay, they are surprised that a Warner of their own has come to them. Upon that the disbelievers said: “This is a strange thing.

When we are dead and have become dust (will we be brought back again)? That is a far (impossible) return”.

We did know what the earth detracts from them (from the bodies of the dead), and in Our Presence is a Book (that is placed in the ‘Illiyyîn and Siccîn’ which has all the events of all times) that preserves.

Nay (that’s not the case), they have belied the truth when it has come to them. In this case, they are in a complex command (problem).

Do they not look up to the sky above them, how We have built it up and adorned it? And there are no cracks in it.

And the earth; We have filled it, spread it and set on firm mountains there. And We have made to grow in there of all kinds of lovely pairs of plants,

so that all His returned servants (who wished to return their spirits to Him during their lifetime), the eyes of their souls would be opened, and that they would (many) praise (reach continuous praise).

And We send down from the sky blessed (abundance) water (rain). So, We caused to grow with it gardens and the grains that are reaped,

and long date-palms with sprouts that are ranged in clusters,

to provision for the servants. And We gave life with it to a dead land. The (resurrection) coming out (of the earth after death) is just like that.

Before them, also belied (their Messengers) the people of Noah, and the people of Ar-Rass and Thamûd,

and (people of) Âd and Pharaoh and the brethren of Lot.

And the people of Eykeh and the people of Tubba, they all belied the Messengers. Hence My promise (punishment) was fulfilled.

Or were We powerless in the first creation? Nay (that’s not the case), they are in doubt about a new creation (after death).

And certainly We created the man and We know what his soul whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his carotid artery.

Then, sitting on the right and left, two (angels) scribes write down (deeds).

Not a word can be uttered without a watcher near him ready (to record it).

And the intoxication of the death came with true. This is what you escape from.

And the Trumpet is blown. This is the Day of warning.

And every soul comes along with a scribe (the angel that records the life film) and with a (angel) witness.

(Allah says): “I swear, you were unaware of this, but now We have removed from you your veil. So, your sight today is sharp”.

And the one (angel) near to him says: “This (life film) is what is ready with me.

Throw into Hell every stubborn disbeliever:

hinderer of good, exceeder of limits, doubter,

who took up another god with Allah. So both (that is, two angels) toss him into the severe torment”!

His companion says: “Our Lord, I did not lead him into inordinacy, but he himself was in a remote Darkness”.

(Allah) says: “Do not quarrel in My Presence. I had already notified you My Promise (Punishment).

The Word will not be changed in My Presence and I am not unjust to My servants”.

On that Day We say to hell: “Are you filled up”? And it replies: “Are there any more”?

And paradise, not being far away, was near to the owners of takwa (spiritual armor).

This (paradise) is what were promised, to all Avvâb (the one whose spirit has taken shelter in Allah by turning to Him) and Hafîz (those who have the Spirit of the Imam of the Time above their heads),

who are in reverence of the Most-Beneficent in the Unseen (without seeing Him) and come (in the Presence of Allah) with a returned heart.

Enter it in peace (safety), this is the Day of Eternity.

And how many a generation We have destroyed before them who were mightier in destruction and violence. Yet, they sought for a place to refuge in the lands (to save themselves from Our destruction). Is there any place of refuge for salvation?

Most surely there is a lesson in this for those who have hearts and hear what is told and witness (Allah with the eye of their heart).

And I swear, We created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days and no fatigue touched Us.

Therefore be patient of what they say, and glorify your Lord with praise (doing Dhikir) before the rising of the sun and before the sunset,

and so glorify Him in part of the night and after prostrations.

And listen to the crier on that Day, when he calls from a near place.

On that Day, they will hear the strongest sound wave, which is the truth. This is the Day of Exit (from the grave).

Surely, We it is Who give life and cause death, and to Us is the return.

On that Day the earth will split and get away from them, (they ascend by coming forth from the earth). This gathering is easy to Us (to gather together all at the Place of Gathering by bringing them out of the earth).

We know best what they say, and you are not the one to compel them. Therefore, warn those by means of the Qur’ân who fears My Promise (My promised punishment).

50:45

Al-Hujurat

Adh-Dhariyat

نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ ۖ وَمَا أَنْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِجَبَّارٍ ۖ فَذَكِّرْ بِالْقُرْآنِ مَنْ يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ

Naahnu aa’lamu bi mea yakooloona va mea anta aalayhim bi cabbearin fa zakkir bil kur’eani man yaheafu vaaeedi.

We know best what they say, and you are not the one to compel them. Therefore, warn those by means of the Qur’ân who fears My Promise (My promised punishment).
