Abraham

Alif-Lâm-Râ. (This is) the Book which We have sent down to you that you may bring forth the mankind from utter darkness into the light by their Lord’s Permission - to the Path of the Majestic, the Praiseworthy.Alif-Lâm-Râ. It is Allah; whose is whatever in the heavens and whatever in the earth. Woe to the disbelievers from a severe torment.

They prefer this world’s life of the Hereafter and hinder (others) from the Way of Allah. And they seek to make it crooked; these are in a remote Darkness.

And We did not send any Messenger but with the language of his people, so that he might explain to them clearly (by their own language). Therefore, Allah leaves in Darkness whom He wills (those who do not wish to reach Him) and He Return whom He wills (those who wish spirit to reach Him). And He is the Majestic, the All-Wise.

And certainly swear We sent Moses with Our Verses (proofs, miracles) (saying): “Bring forth your people from utter darkness into the light and remind them of the days of Allah (have them remember the name of Allah all the days)”. Most surely there are Signs (proofs) in this for the patient, grateful ones.

And when Moses said to his people: “Remember Allah’s Gift upon you! He delivered you from Pharaoh’s people, who were oppressing you with a severe torment, and were slaughtering your sons and letting your women alive. In this there is a great trial from your Lord.”

And then your Lord proclaimed that; “if you are grateful, We certainly give to you more (gifts, degrees), if you disbelieve My torment is truly severe”.

And Moses said: “If you and those on earth deny all together, most surely Allah is Rich (Free of all needs and does not need your praise), Praised One”.

Has there not come to you the news of those who were before you, the people of Noah, Âd, and Thamoud and those who came after them? None knows them but Allah. Their Messengers came to them with the clear arguments (proofs), but they thrust their hands into their mouths (from anger) and said: “Surely we disbelieve in that with which you are sent, and most surely we are in serious doubt as to that to which you invite us.”

Their Messengers said: “Are you in doubt about Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth? He calls you that to replace your sins with good and respite you till an appointed term.” They said: “You are nothing but mortals like us. You wish to turn us away from what our fathers used to worship; bring us therefore some clear miracle.”

Their Messengers said to them: “We are nothing but mortals like you, but Allah bestows on whom He wills of His servants. It is not (possible) for us that we would bring you any authority (proof, miracle) except by Allah’s Permission. Now in Allah let the believers put their trust.”

Why should we not put our trust in Allah? He has indeed returned us to our ways (submitted our spirit, physical body, soul and free will to Himself). Certainly, we will be patient to your persecution of us. In Allah let those who trust, put their trust.

Those who disbelieved said to their Messengers: “We will most certainly drive you forth from our land, or you will come back into our religion.” So, their Lord revealed to them: “Most certainly We will destroy the tyrants,

and most certainly We will settle you in the land after them. This is for him who fears My Rank and My threat (Promise)”.

And they (the messengers) wished for victory, and all the obstinate despots lost.

Behind it followed by Hell and there will be festering water to drink.

He will try to sip it and (but) will not be able to swallow it easily. Death will come to him from every side, yet he cannot die (although he will beg to die). And there is a vehement torment behind him.

The deeds of those who denied their Lord are like ashes scattered by a storm wind on a hurricane day. They will have no power over anything they have earned. This is a far (deep) Darkness!

Do you not see that Allah created the heavens and the earth with truth? If He wills, He can remove you and bring (create) a new creation (nation).

And this is not big (not difficult) for Allah.

And they all came forth before Allah, and the weak said to those who were arrogant: “Surely we followed you. Can you now avert from us any part of the torment of Allah?” They said: “If Allah had delivered us to Return (at our request would have returned our spirit to Himself during our lifetime), we too would have delivered you to Return (Return). It is the same to us whether we are patient or impatient. There is no place for us to escape.”

And Satan said when the command was fulfilled: “Surely Allah promised you His promise of truth, and I promised you as well. But I turned away from my promise. And I have no authority (power) over you. I only called you and you answered me, therefore do not blame me, but blame yourselves! And I am not your helper. You are not my helper either. Surely, I denied your associating me (with Allah) earlier too. Verily, there is a painful torment for the tyrants.”

Those who are amenu (who wish their spirits to reach Allah before death) and do righteous acts (cleanse the souls’ hearts) are made to enter paradises, under which the rivers flow. They abide in them forever by their Lord’s Permission. Their greeting therein is “Peace”.

Have you not seen how Allah set forth an example? A good word is like a good tree, whose essence (root) is firm and its branches are in the sky,

it yields its fruit at all times, by the Leave of its Lord. And Allah sets forth examples for mankind in order that they may deliberate.

And the case of a bad (evil) word is like a bad (evil, weak) tree uprooted from the surface of the earth, having no stability.

Allah keeps firm those who are âmenû (who wish their spirits to reach Allah before death) with the word that stands firm in this world and in the Hereafter. And Allah leaves the tyrants in Darkness. Allah does what He wills.

Have you not seen those who have changed the Gift of Allah for disbelief and made their people to the Abode of Destruction –

hell; which they lean against it? What an evil Abode they decided to settle in!

And they set up equals with Allah that they may lead (people) astray from His Way. Say: “Enjoy yourselves (live in wealth). Surely your comeback is to the Fire.”

Say to My servants who are âmenû (who wish their spirits to reach Allahbefore death) that they should keep up the prayer and spend out of what We endowed them secretly and openly before the coming of a Day on which there will be no trade, nor any friendships.

Allah is He Who created the heavens and the earth and sent down water from the sky, then brought forth with it produce as a sustenance for you, and He has made the ships subservient to you, that they sailed in the see by His Command, and He has made the rivers subservient to you,

and He has subjected to you the sun and the moon, both constantly pursuing their courses (with Allah’s Sunnetullah) and He has made subservient to you the night and the day,

and out of all this He has given you whatever you ask. And if you count the Blessings of Allah, you will not be able to number them. Most surely man is very cruel, very ungrateful.

Abraham had said: “My Lord! Make this city secure. Keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols.

My lord! Surely, they (idols) have caused many people to fall into Darkness. Then whoever obeys on me, he is surely of me, and whoever disobeys me, then You are indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Our Lord! I have settled a part of my offspring in an uncultivable valley by Your Sacred House. Our Lord! May they keep up the prayer. Make the hearts of some people incline towards them and provide them with crops; so that they may be grateful.

Our Lord! Surely You know all that we hide and all that we reveal. Nothing in the earth nor any thing in the heaven(s) is hidden from Allah.

All praise be to Allah, Who has given me in old age Ishmael and Isaac. Most surely my Lord is All-Hearing of the call.

My Lord! Make me and my offspring amongst the ones who keep up the prayer. Our Lord! Accept my prayer.

Our Lord! Replace sins with good me and my parents and the believers on the Day when the Reckoning will be established”.

And do not assume that Allah is Unaware of what the tyrants do. He only respites them for a Day on which the eyes will stare in terror.

Those who run forward with their heads upraised (staring at the skies)! Their glances cannot revert to them. And their hearts are full of the vices (of the soul).

Warn the people of a day of torment that will come to them. Then those who were tyrants will say: “Our Lord! Respite us to a near term, so we shall respond to Your Call and obeyed on the Messengers.” Had you not sworn, before, that for you there would be no transition (from worldly life to eternal life)?

And you dwelt in the abodes of those who tyrannized themselves, and it was explained to you what We did to them. And We put forth examples for you.

They had plotted their plot. And their plot is with Allah (He is aware of their plot), even if their plot is strong enough to make the mountains disappear.

Therefore do not think that Allah will fail in His Promise to His Messengers. Surely Allah is Majestic, the Owner of Retribution.

On that Day the earth and the heavens will be replaced to another state. And they will be before Allah, the One, the Conqueror.

And you will see the guilty ones on the Day of Permission linked in chains to each other.

Their shirts are made of tar and the Fire covering their faces.

(This) so that Allah may requite each soul with what it has earned (for negative degrees - punishment, for positive degrees - reward). Surely Allah is Swift at Reckoning.

This (Quran) is an announcement for mankind and that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is One God and that the ûli’l elbâb (those who possesses the divine secrets) communicated (with Allah).

الر ۚ كِتَابٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ لِتُخْرِجَ النَّاسَ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ

Alif leam rea kiteabun anzalneahu ilayka li tuhrican neasa minaz zuloomeati ilan noori bi izni raabbihim ilea sıreatıl aazeezil haameed(haameedi).
