The Consultation

Hâ, Mîm.

Aîn, Sîn, Qâf.

This is how Allah, the Majestic, the All-Wise, reveals to you, and to those before you.

His is what is in the heavens and in the earth, and He is the Most High, the Greatest.

The heavens are almost to crumble from above them and the angels glorify their Lord with praise, ask for replacement of sins with good for the people on the earth. Verily, Allah is the Oft-Forgiving (Replacing sins with good), the Most Merciful (Acting with His Name Mercy), is not He?

And they took friends besides Him (Allah). Allah is Guardian over them (keeps their acts in their life-films), and you are not a guarantor over them.

And thus have We revealed to you an Arabic Qur'ân, that you may warn the Mother of the Towns (people of Makkah) and those around it, and that you may give warning of the Day of Gathering (day of Resurrection) of which there is no doubt. Some of them shall be in paradise and some in the blazing Fire (Hell).

And if Allah had willed, He would surely have made them a single nation. And but He makes whom He wills enter into His Mercy (light), and for the tyrants, there is no friend, nor helper for them.

Or have they taken friends besides Him? Allah is the Friend, and He raises the dead. And He is Omnipotent.

If you differ about something, the judgment of it then belongs to Allah. This is Allah, my Lord. In Him I put my trust and to Him do I turn.

The Creator of the heavens and the earth has made mates for you from your own souls and also mates (pairs) of the animals. Therein multiplies and spreads you. Nothing is like Him and He is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

His are the keys of the heavens and the earth He enlarges and straitens the provision for whom He wills. Verily He is the All-Knower of everything.

In the religion what (Shari'a, that the law) He bequeathed Noah with these (words): "Maintain the Religion and in it (in religion, in faith) do not divide into groups," - and also what (the law, which) We bequeathed with this (the same words) to Abraham, Moses, Jesus and you by revelation, and also made a law to you. That which you called the polytheists to (called to wishing to reach Allah before death) has been very difficult for them. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills, and whoever returns (wishes to return the spirit during life) to Him, He will turn (return the spirit during life) to Himself.

And after the (divine) knowledge came to them, none of them were divided into groups, except for the transgressed. If a Word had not gone forth from your Lord till an appointed term, certainly the judgment would have been given between them (immediately). Those who have inherit the Book after them are most surely in serious doubt about it.

Therefore, now you invite them, and be on the right direction (towards Allah) as you are commanded. And do not follow their low desires and tell them: “I believed in what Allah has revealed of the Book, and I am commanded to be just amongst you. Allah is your Lord and our Lord. For us are our deeds and for you are your deeds. There is no dispute between us and you. Allah will gather us together, and to Him is the return”.

Those who argue about Allah after the call (invitation of Allah) has been answered, their argument (proof) is null (useless) in the presence of their Lord. Upon them is Wrath (of Allah), and for them is a severe torment.

Allah sent down the Book and the Scale (Al Mizan) with truth. And you cannot comprehend (know), perhaps that Hour is very near.

Those who do not believe in it (the Doomsday) would hasten it on. Yet those who are âmenû (who are true believers) are in fear from it, and they know that it is the truth. Most surely those who are doubtful and struggle concerning the Hour (Doomsday) are truly in remote Darkness, are they not?

Allah is Gracious to His servants. He gives provision to whom He wills and He is the Mighty, the Majestic (the All-Honorable).

Whoever desires the harvest (the gain) of the Hereafter, We increase his gain. Whosoever desires the harvest of this world, We give him of it, and in the Hereafter he has no portion.

Or do they have associates who have instituted for them a Law (Sharia) in the Religion that which Allah has not allowed? And had it not been for a Word of separation was not mentioned, the matter would have certainly been judged between them (immediately). And surely for the tyrants there is a painful torment.

You will see the fear of tyrants because of what they have earned, and what they are afraid of will surely befall them. And those who believe (who wish their spirits to reach Allah before death) and do righteous deeds (the soul’s cleansing) are in the Gardens of paradise. They have everything they desire in the presence of their Lord. That is the Supreme Generosity.

This is of which Allah gives glad tidings to His servants for those who believe (who are âmenû, who wish their spirits to reach Allah while they are alive) and do improving deeds (the soul’s cleansing). Say: “I do not ask of you any reward for it (the message) except love in closeness (to Allah, to the Messenger and to those who obey him)”, and whoever does a good deed, We increase good for him. Surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving (Replacing sins with good), Thanked One.

Or do they forge a lie against Allah? Along with that if Allah wills, He seals your heart and eliminate the falsehood. Fulfill the truth by His Words. Surely, He knows well what is in the bosoms.

And He it is Who accepts the repentance of His servants and pardons their evil deeds. And He knows what you do.

And (Allah) accept (the prayers of) those who believe (who are âmenû) and do righteous deeds (the soul’s cleansing). And increases for them from His Fadl (light). And the disbelievers; for them there is a severe torment.

And if Allah were to enlarge the provision for His servants, they would certainly go extravagant in the earth. But He sends down as He wills. Surely, He is All- Aware, All-Seeing of His servants.

And He it is Who sends down the rain and spread His Mercy after (they) have despaired. And He is the Friend, the Praised One.

And from among His Signs for Him to create the heavens and the earth, and to multiply and spread the animals in there. And He is All-Powerful to gather them together when He wills.

And whenever a misfortune befalls you, it is due to what your hands have earned (what you have done). Pardons most of (misfortune) them (does not give to you).

And you are not the ones who can make (Allah) weak in the earth and there is not any friend or any helper for you besides Allah.

And from among His Signs are the ships in the sea that swim like high mountains.

If He wills, He causes the wind to halt. Then (the ships) remain motionless on it. Most surely there are Signs in this for every very patient, grateful one.

Or He drags them to perdition for what they have earned and pardons the most (too).

And those who dispute about Our Verses may know that there is no place of refuge for them.

So everything you have been given is only an enjoyment for the life of the world. And for those who are âmenû (who are true believers), who wish their spirits to reach Allah while they are alive), what is with Allah is better and more lasting, and they trust their Lord,

and they eschew from the greater sins and indecencies, and when they are angry they forgive.

And they respond to their Lord and keep up the Prayer. And they gather amongst each other to conduct their affairs by mutual consultation. And they spend out of what We have given them as provision

and they help one another when an attack touches them.

And the repayment for evil is equal to evil. But whoever forgives and reconciles, then his reward (reward) belongs to Allah. Surely, He does not love the tyrants.

And indeed, whosoever gets back his due those who take what is rightfully theirs, after he has been wronged, for such there is no way (punishment) upon (against) them.

But there is a way (punishment) upon (against) those who oppress others and brutally in the earth without right. They are, for them there is a painful torment.

And whoever practices patience and forgives this indeed is a greatest affair.

And whomsoever Allah leaves in Darkness, then after this, for him there is no Friend. And you will see how tyrants, seeing the torment, say: “Is there any way of return (to the world)?”

And you see them brought forward to it (torment) humbling themselves because of the abasement, looking with a stealthy glance. Those who truly believe (who are âmenû) said: “Surely those who are in Loss are they who have caused themselves and their families to fall into Loss on the Day of Resurrection”. Surely the tyrants are in continuous torment, are not they?

And they have no friends to help them besides Allah, and whomsoever Allah leaves in Darkness, for him there is no way (Salvation).

Answer your Lord (wish their spirits to reach Allahwhile you are alive), before there comes a Day by Allah which will not be averted. There is for you no refuge on that Day of Permission, and there is for you no denial (you cannot deny what you used to do).

After this, if they turn aside, We have not sent you as a guardian over them. On you is only to convey (the Message). And surely when We make human taste of Mercy from Us, he rejoices with it. And if an evil befalls him on account of what his hands have already sent before (due to what he used to do), then surely human becomes utterly ungrateful (denier).

Allah’s is the Dominion of the heavens and the earth. He creates what He wills. He bestows daughters upon whom He wills and sons upon whom He wills.

Or bestows both – daughter and son. And He makes whom He wills barren. Surely He is All-Knowing, All-Powerful.

And it is not for any human being that Allah should speak to him except by Vahy (Revelation) or from behind a veil, or by sending a Messenger (angel) revealing by His Permission what He wills. Allah is All-Knowing and Most Wise.

And thus, We have revealed a spirit (the Holy Qur’an) from our Command. You did not know what the Book was, nor what the Faith was. And but We made it a Light (Nûr). With that (Qur’an) We return (the spirit to Us) whomever of Our servants We will. And verily, you, of course, turn (introduce) on Sıratı Mustakîm (on the Way directed to Allah) –

on the Way of Allah, to Whom belongs everything that is in the heavens and the earth. All orders (affairs) return to Allah, do not they?

42:53

Fussilat

Az-Zukhruf

صِرَاطِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ أَلَا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَصِيرُ الْأُمُورُ

Sıreatılleahillazee lahu mea fees sameaveati va mea feel aard(aardı), a lea ilealleahi taseerul umoor(umooru).

on the Way of Allah, to Whom belongs everything that is in the heavens and the earth. All orders (affairs) return to Allah, do not they?
