The Tidings

What is it that they ask one another?

About the great news.

That they are in disagreement about it.

Nay, they shall soon know.

Then, nay, they shall soon know.

Have We not made the earth a mattress?

And (made) the mountains as pegs (that keep the earth in its place)?

And We created you in pairs

And We made your sleep a time to rest.

And We made the night a cover.

And We made the day a time for subsistence.

And We built above you seven strong layers.

And We made (therein) a lamp shining brilliant.

And We send down water from the rain the clouds pouring forth robustly.

That We may bring forth therewith grains and vegetations.

(To have) vineyards and gardens hugging (within) each other.

Surely the Day of Sorting was a decreed time (earlier).

The Day on which the Trumpet is blown, so you shall come forth in groups.

And the sky is opened, hence the gates are formed.

And the mountains are moved off, hence became a mirage.

Surely Hell has become visible (place of punishment).

A place of refuge for the extravagant.

(They are the ones) to remain in there for all times.

They do not taste therein a coolness nor a drink.

Except dirty wound discharge and boiling water.

As a suitable recompense.

Surely they were not expecting a Reckoning.

And called Our Verses a lie, contradicting it.

And We have counted (recorded) writing it.

Go ahead and taste (the torment)! We shall not increase you except in torment.

Surely for the owners of takwa (spiritual armor), there is Salvation (and gain).

There are gardens and vineyards.

And superb statured young girls who are equals in age.

And there are goblets which are full.

They shall not hear therein a vain word nor a lie.

(This is) a reward (blessing) from your Lord according to a reckoning.

(Allah is) the Most-Beneficent Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them. (None) have an address from Him.

On that Day the Spirit (of the Imam of the Time) and the angels (that hold the Heaven of Heavens) stand ready in rows. No one can speak except he whom the Most-Beneficent permits. And he (who is permitted) speaks only the rewards.

That Day (when the hand of the Murshid is kissed in order to reach the Truth/Allah and when one has depended on him) is the Day of Truth. The one who wishes (to reach Allah), takes a Way that leads to his Lord (Sıratı Mustakîm, the path of guidance that leads to Allah). (Allah) becomes Meab (shelter).

Surely We have warned you of a near torment. On that Day the one shall look at what he presented with his hands. And the disbeliever shall say: “I wish I was dust”.
