The Stories

Tâ, Sîn, Mîm.

These are the Verses of the Clear Book.

We will recite to you from the news of Moses and Pharaoh with truth for a people who believe.

Surely Pharaoh was in the land (a king in Egypt) and made its people into groups, weakening some among them (Jews), slaughtering their sons and letting their women live. Surely, he was one of those spreading lawlessness.

And We wish(ed) to bestow those who were deemed weak in the land, and make them the Imams (religious leaders) and make them the heirs,

to establish them in the earth (land), to grant them power and to make Pharaoh and Haman and their armies see from them (the Sons of Israel) what they feared.

And We revealed to Moses’ mother (saying): “Suckle him (Moses), then when you fear for him, then cast him into the river and do not fear nor grieve surely We will bring him back to you and make him one of the Messengers”.

So Pharaoh’s family took him up that he become an enemy and trouble for them. Surely Pharaoh, Haman and their armies were the ones who would deliberately commit crime.

And Pharaoh’s wife said to him: “A joy of the eye for me and for you, do not kill him perhaps he may be of benefit to us, or we may adopt him as a son”. And they were not aware (of the reality).

And the morning arrived to Moses’ mother as her heart of was empty. She would have almost disclosed it if We had not connected her heart (if We had not established a connection with her heart) so that she could be of the believers.

(Moses’ mother) said to his elder sister: “Follow him up”. So, she watched him from a distance while they did not perceive.

And earlier We had already forbidden (other) foster suckling mothers to him (We made him not to suckle) so she (his elder sister) said: “Shall I direct you to a household who will undertake his care for you and they will be education to him”?

So we gave him back to his mother that her eye may be comforted, and that she might not grieve, and she might know that the Promise of Allah is true, but most of them do not know.

And when he attained his maturity and became full grown, We gave him wisdom and knowledge. This is how We reward the Al-Muhsinin.

And he (Moses, before wisdom was given to him) went into the city at a time of inattention by its people (without any one perceived him). He found therein two men fighting, one being of his supporters and the other of his enemies. Then he who was of his supporters asked him for help against him who was of his enemies. So, Moses struck him with his fist (killed him). So, it (death) was fulfilled. Moses said: “This is of the devil s doing. Surely, he is an enemy, leaving openly in Darkness”.

He said: “My Lord! Surely, I cause evil my soul, so replace my sins with good”. Then He replaced his sins with good. Surely, He is the Oft-Forgiving (Replacing sins with good), the Most Merciful (the One acting with His Name Mercy).

He said: “My Lord! Because You have bestowed me, I shall never be help of the guilty”.

So, he waited for the morning in the city (fearing) watchful. But he who had appealed to him the day before cried out to him for help; Moses said to him: “Verily, you are a plain rampageous”!

So when he desired to seize him who was an enemy to them both, he said: “O Moses! Do you intend to kill me like the person you killed yesterday? If you do, then you will be nothing but a tyrant in the land and you do not desire to be of the reconcilers”.

And a man came running from the remotest part of the city. He said: “O Moses! Surely the elites (of the city) are consulting together to kill you; therefore escape (from the city). Surely I am of the good advisers to you”.

So, he escaped from there, fearing, vigilant (of his surroundings). He said: “My Lord! Save me from the tyrant people”.

And when he turned towards (the city of) Midian (Medyen), he said: “I hope my Lord will guide (deliver) me to the designed way”.

And when he came to the water of Midian he found on it a group of people taking water, and he found besides them two women keeping (their flocks from water). He said: “What is the matter with you”? They said: “We cannot water (our flocks) until the shepherds take away (their flocks) from the water, and our father is a very old man”.

So he watered (their flock), then went back to the shade and said: “My Lord! Surely I stand in need of whatever You may send down to me as good”.

Then one of the two women came to him bashfully. She said: “My father invites you that he may give you the reward of your having watered (our flock)”. So when (Moses) came to him, told him his story. (The old man) said: “Do not fear! You are saved from the wrong-doing people”.

One of the two women said: “O my father! Hire him. Surely, he is better, stronger and more faithful from those you hired”.

(The old man) said: “I surely like to marry one of these two daughters of mine to you on condition that you should work for me for eight years with reward. But if you complete ten, it will be (a favor) from you. And I do not wish to force you. If Allah wills, you will find me one of the righteous ones (Salihin)”.

(Moses) said: “This is between you and me. Whichever of the two terms I fulfill let there be no enmity to me. And Allah is Surety over what we say”.

So when Moses had fulfilled the term, he left (walking) with his family. He perceived on the side of mount Tur a fire. He said to his family: “Wait, I have surely seen a fire, maybe I will bring to you from it some news or a brand of fire, so that you may warm yourselves”.

So when he came to it, he was called from the right side of the valley in the blessed spot of the tree: “O Moses! Surely I am Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.

And cast down your staff”! So (when he cast his staff) he saw it in motion as if it were a serpent. He turned in flight and did not look back. “O Moses! Turn (back)! And do not fear surely you are of those who are secure!

Put your hand in your bosom and bring out flawlessly white (light). Draw your wings (hands) towards to yourself without fear (confidently). These are two proofs from your Lord for Pharaoh and his nobles. Indeed, they are a ungodly people”.

(Moses) said: “My Lord! Surely, I killed one of them and I am afraid that they will kill me.

And my brother Aaron, he is more eloquent in speech than I. And send him with me to confirm me and to be a helper to me. Surely I fear that they would belie me”.

(Allah) said: “We will strengthen you with your brother, and We will make you Sultans (give you both an authority), so that they shall not reach (stand against) Our Signs (miracles). You two and those who follow you become victors”.

So when Moses brought Our Clear Signs, they said: “This is nothing but forged enchantment, and we never heard of it from our forefathers”.

And Moses said: “My Lord knows best who comes from Him with Return (a teacher who returns the spirit of Allah in life), and whose shall be the end of the worldly home. Surely the tyrants do not have Salvation”.

And Pharaoh said: “O notables! I do not know of any god for you other than me. O, Hâmân, kindle a fire for me upon the clay (bake bricks out of clay). So, set up for me a (high) tower so that I may obtain knowledge of Moses’ God, and most surely, I deem him to be one of the liars”.

And he and his army were unjustly arrogant in the earth, and they deemed that they would never be brought back to Us.

Then We seized him and his army and cast them into the sea. So, see how the end of the tyrants was.

And We made them Imams (leaders) who call to Fire, and on the Day of Resurrection they shall not be helped.

And We sent a curse after them in this world, and on the Day of Resurrection they will be from those far away (from the Mercy of Allah).

And I swear, after We had destroyed the former generations, We gave Moses the Book (Torah), being insights for men (that their hearts’ eyes to begin to sight) and a Return (Submission) and Mercy (that Allah should manifest Himself with His Name of Most Merciful). It is hoped that they deliberate.

And you (O Muhammad)! You were not on the western side when we fulfilled to Moses the Commandment and you were not among the witnesses (among those who had seen the event).

But We built up (created) generations. Long were their lives. (While) you were not dwelling among the people of Madian, you recite to them (your Companions) Our Verses. But it is We Who is sending (that news to you).

And you were not on this side of the Mount Tur when We called (Moses). But as a Mercy from your Lord that you may warn a people to whom no Warner (Prophet) came before you. It is hoped that they deliberate.

And (We would not have sent you as a Messenger-Prophet) if they had not said, when trouble befell them for what they had done with their own hands: “Our Lord! If only you should have sent to us a Messenger so that we would have followed your Verses and been of the believers.”

But when the truth has come to them from Us, they said: “Why is he not given the like of what was given to Moses”? Did they not deny before what Moses was given? They said: “Two magic (Torah and Qoran) supported each other and surely we are the deniers all”.

Say (to them): “If you speak the truth, then bring a Book from Allah, which Returns more than both of them (submission of spirit, physical body, soul and free will to Allah before death), and I will follow it”.

Then if they do not answer you (if they do not comply with your call to make them reach Return), know that they only follow their low desires. Who is in more Darkness than he who follows his low desires without any person of Return from Allah? Surely Allah does not Return the unjust people.

And I swear, We have caused the word (Our Verses) to reach them, in order that they may deliberate.

Those whom We gave the Book before, they believe in it (in the Noble Qur an).

And when it (the Qur an) is recited to them, they said: “We believed in it surely it is the truth from our Lord. Surely, we were submitted ones (to Allah) before that”.

These are they who will be given their double reward for their patience. And they remove evil with good and bestow from that (spiritual) with which We endowed them.

And when they heard vain talk, they turned aside from it and said: “For us are our deeds and for you your deeds, peace be on you, we do not desire (to be with) the ignorant (We do not show interest in the ignorant)”.

Surely, you cannot return (spirit to Allah) whom you love. And only Allah will return whom He wills. He knows better those who returned (returned their spirits to Him during their lifetime).

And they said: “If we follow the Return (we wish to return the spirit of Allah) with you, we would be exiled away from our land”. Have we not settled them in a safe, sacred (respected) territory to which crops of every kind are brought as sustenance from Us? But many of them do not know (that these are from the Allah).

And how many nations have We destroyed, which rampaged, was thankless for its means of life. These are their dwellings they have not been dwelt in after them except a little, and We, their inheritors is Us.

And your Lord did not destroyer to the countries, until He sent a Messenger to their city, reciting to them Our Verses. And We did not destroyer to the countries, until their inhabitants did evil.

And whatever things you have been given are only a provision (material) of the life of the world and its ornament, and whatever is in Allah’s is better and more lasting. Do you not then use your mind?

Is he to whom We have promised a goodly promise which he shall gain be like him whom We have provided with the provisions of this world’s life, and then on the Day of Resurrection he shall be of those who are made to be present (to be reckoned)?

On that Day (Allah) shall call unto them and say: “Where are those whom you assumed to be my associates”?

Those over whom the Word of torment was justified, said: “Our Lord! Here are those whom we have corrupted. We have corrupted them just as we have corrupted ourselves. We present to you that we are clear (free) of them, they did not worship us (but followed their souls)”.

And it is said to them: “Call your associates”! So, they called upon them. But they did not answer them and they saw the torment. O, that they would turn (wish to return their spirits to Allah during their lifetime)!

And on that Day (Allah) will call to them and say: “What was the answer you gave to the Messengers (when you were alive)”?

On the Day of Permission the news (the book of their deeds, the digital book) are closed to them. After that they shall not be interrogated.

And the one who repents (before the Murshid-the religious guide and obeys him) and having become (for the second time) amenu, does a righteous deed (purifies his soul by praising), then it is possible that therefore he will be among those who have reached Salvation (by submitting your spirit to Allah).

And your Lord creates and chooses whom He wills. The right to choose is not theirs. Glory be to Allah and exalted be He above what they associate (with Him).

And your Lord knows what is hidden in their breasts and what they reveal.

And He is Allah; there is no god but Him! All praise is due to Him in the beginning (in this world) and in the end (in the Hereafter), and His is the Judgment, and to Him you shall be brought back.

Say: “Have you seen (thought)? If Allah were to make the night to continue incessantly on you till the Day of Resurrection, who is the deity besides Allah that could bring you light? Do you still not then hear”?

Say: “Have you seen (thought)? If Allah were to make the day to continue permanently on you till the Day of Resurrection, who is the deity besides Allah that could bring you the night in which you take rest? Do you still not then see”?

And out of His Mercy He has made for you the night and the day, so that you rest during it (night) and ask (during the day) from His Generosity. And maybe you will be grateful.

And on that Day (Allah) shall call unto them and say: “Where are those whom you assumed to be my associates”?

And We brought forth from among every nation a witness. Then said: “Bring your indisputable arguments (proofs)”. So they knew (understood) that the truth is Allah’s, and that which they invented (idols) departed from (deserted) them.

Surely Qarun was of the people of Moses, and then began to do evil against them. We gave him treasures whose keys would burden a band of strong men. His people had said to him: “Do not exult (be arrogant) surely Allah does not love the exultant (arrogant).

And seek the Abode of the Hereafter in that which Allah has given you, and do not forget your portion of this world (too). Bestow (give without expecting anything in return) as Allah has bestowed on you and do not spread lawlessness in the earth. Surely Allah does not love those spreading lawlessness”.

(Qarun) said: “This (wealth) has been given to me only because of the knowledge I possess”. Does he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of the generations who were mightier in strength than he and greater in the amount (of riches) they had collected? And the guilty shall not be questioned of their sins.

So he went forth to his people in his finery (in his great pomp). Those who were desirous of the life of the world said: “We wish we had the like of what Qarun has been given! Verily he is the owner of a great happiness”.

And those who were given the knowledge (those who returned the spirit to Allah) said: “Woe to you! Allah’s reward is better for him who believes (who is Amenu, who wishes to reach Allah before death) and (having obeyed the holy teacher) does righteous deeds (does the soul’s cleansing). None is can to reach this (better reward) except the ones who are patient”.

Then We to caved him and his palace into the earth. He had no body of helpers to assist but Allah, nor was he of those who are helped.

And those who yearned for his place only the day before, the next morning said: “Ah! So, Allah amplifies and straitens the means of subsistence for which He wills of His servants. If Allah had not generosity us, He would certainly to caved us in the earth. Assuredly the disbelievers never have Salvation.

This is the Abode of the Hereafter, We assign it to those who do not seek to exalt themselves and nor to spread lawlessness in the earth. The (good) end is for the owners of takwa (spiritual armor).

Whoever comes with good (the positive degrees) so for him is the better of it. And whoever comes with evil (the negative degrees), then those who do evil deeds will only be requited for what they used to do (the equal with the remaining degrees after the degrees they have earned have been subtracted from the degrees they have lost).

Most surely, He who has made the Qur’an binding (obligatory) on you are the One Who will bring you back to a place of return (to Allah). Say:” My Lord knows best who comes with the Return (with Submission) and who is in manifest Darkness”.

And you did not expect that the Book would be delivered to you, as a Mercy from your Lord. Therefore do not help the disbelievers.

And let them not turn you away from the Verses of Allah after they have been sent down to you. And call to your Lord (call that they wish to return their spirit to Allah during their lifetime) and do not become of the polytheists.

And call (worship) not with Allah any other deity. There is no deity but He. Everything will perish except Him. His is the Judgment, and to Him you shall be brought back.
