The Sundering

When the sky is split open.

And it obeyed its Lord and realized (His command).

And when the earth is stretched forth and became leveled.

And it cast forth (out) what is in it and became empty.

And it obeyed its Lord and realized (His command).

O human! Surely you struggle (against your soul) with a hard struggling (to attain) to your Lord. In the end, you get united with Him (you have your spirit reach Allah).

But as to him who is given his book (his life film) from his right-hand side,

he shall be reckoned with by an easy reckoning,

and shall go back to his people (in paradise) in joy.

And as to him who is given his book (his life film) from his back,

he shall call for death immediately (will pray for his own destruction),

and he shall lean on (thrown in) the blazing Fire.

Verily, he was (in the world) among his people in joy!

Surely he thought that he would never return (to Allah).

Nay (that’s not the case)! Surely his Lord does ever see him.

After that, Nay! I swear by dawn,

and to the night and whatever it covers (possesses),

and to the moon when its light is completed (when it becomes a full moon),

that you will certainly move from one layer to another (you will pass either the heavens by levels or the earthly layers by levels).

So what is the matter with them that they do not believe?

And when the Qur’ân is recited to them they do not bow down.

Nay! Those who deny (disbelievers) belie.

And Allah knows best what (their denials, enmity) they hide (in their hearts).

So announce to them a painful torment.

However those who are amenu (who wish to reach spirit Allah while they are alive) and do righteous acts (that cleanses and purification the souls’ hearts); for them there is an uninterrupted reward.

84:1

Al-Mutaffifin

Al-Buruj

إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ
