The Heights

Alif-Lâm-Mîm-Sâd.

The Book sent down to you is a instruction to the believers, and that you may warn thereby them (people). So let there be no tightness in your breast because of this (due to the fact that they did not accept the revealed verses).

Obey what has been sent down to you from your Lord and make no friends other than him (Quran). Little do you deliberate!

And how many countries have We destroyed! So Our severe torment came to them by night or while they were taking their midday nap.

Yet their invocation, when Our severe torment came to them, was nothing but that they said: “Surely we were tyrants”!

Most certainly then We will question those to whom the Messengers were sent, and most certainly We will also question the Messengers.

Then most certainly We will explain to them with knowledge. We were not unaware (of their actions).

And the scales on that Day of Permission (day of reckoning) is true (real). Then as for him whose scales (of good deeds) is heavy, those are they who shall be in Salvation.

And as for him whose scales (of good deeds) is light, those are they who have made their souls fall into Loss (Husrân) because they unfair Our Verses.

Certainly We have placed you in the earth and made in it means of livelihood. How little you do thank!

And certainly We created you, then shaped you, then We said to the angels: “Bow down to Adam”. They bowed down except Iblîs (Satan), he was not of those who prostrated themselves.

(Allah) said: “What prevented you that you did not bow down, when I commanded you (do it)”? Iblîs (Satan) said: “I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from clay”.

He (Allah) said: “Then get down from there, for it does not befit you to behave arrogantly therein. Go forth right away. Surely you are of the humiliated”.

(Lucifer) said: “Reprieve me until the Day when they are resurrected”.

He (Allah) said: “Surely You are of the reprieved ones”.

He (Satan) said: “As You have exacerbated me, I will certainly sit in against them (to stop them) on Your Sıratı Mustakîm (the path of guidance that leads to Allah)”.

Then I will certainly come to them from before them and from behind them and from their right-hand side and from their left-hand side; and You will not find most of them thankful.

He (Allah) said: “Get out from there despised and driven away”! Whoever of them follows you, I will certainly fill Hell with you all.

And O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in paradise; so eat from where you both wish. And do not approach this tree, for then you (both) will be of the tyrants”.

Then Satan began to whisper to them, so that the shameful places of both, which were hidden from them, would be revealed and that said: “Your Lord forbade you this tree only because you can become angels or you can stay (there) forever”.

And (Satan) swore to them both: “Most surely I am one of the sincere advisers for you both”.

So, having deceived both, he (Iblis) became their leader. When they tasted (the fruit) of the tree, their shameful places became manifest to them, and they both began to cover themselves with the leaves of the Garden; and their Lord called out to them: “Did I not forbid you both from that tree and say to you: ‘Assuredly Satan is an open enemy’”?

They both said: “Our Lord! We caused our evil souls, and If You do not forgive us (don't replace our sins with good) and have not mercy on us (don't give us light), surely we are of the losers”.

He (Allah) said: “Get down as enemies to each other, and there is for you in the earth an abode (a dwelling-place) and an provision for a while”.

Allah said: “Therein shall you live, and therein shall you die, and from it shall you be raised”.

O Sons of Adam! We have indeed sent down to you clothing to cover your shameful places and as an adornment (clothing); and the clothing of takwâ, that is better. This is of the Signs of Allah that you may deliberate.

O Sons of Adam! Let not Satan cause you to fall into seduce as he expelled your parents from Paradise pulling off from them both their clothing that he might show them their shameful places. He as well as his tribe surely sees you from where you cannot see them. Surely, We have made satans the friends of those who do not believe.

And when they committed an indecency they said: “We found our fathers on this (We saw so from them) and Allah has commanded it on us”. Say: “Allah never commands indecency”. Do you say about Allah that which you do not know?

Say: "My Lord commanded you to act justly, and when performing ritual prayer (prayer) in all mosques, turn your body (towards Kâba). And in His religion pray sincerely. As He created you, so shall you also return (to Him in prayer)!"

Some turned (got submitted to Allah), and some deserved to be in Darkness. Surely, they took the satans for friends instead of Allah, and reckon that they have attained to Return.

Oh, Sons of Adam! Take (with you) your embellishments (your beautiful qualities) to all the mosques. Eat and drink, but don't overdo it. Surely, He (Allah) does not love the unbridled!

Say: “Who has prohibited the embellishment of Allah and clean things (lawful) from the provision, which He has brought forth for His servants”? Say: "That is for those who are âmenû in the life of this world (for those who, wishing to return the spirit to Allah, have reached the Post of the Religious Guide (became the Holy Teacher)) and exclusively for them on the Day of Resurrection as well". Thus do We explain the Verses individually for a people who know.

Say: “My Lord has only prohibited indecencies, those of them that are apparent as well as those that are concealed and the sin and rebellion without justice, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down any proof, and that you say against Allah what you do not know”.

And for every nation (Umma) there is an appointed term. Once their appointed term arrives, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede.

O Sons of Adam! Whenever come to you messengers from among you who narrate to you My Verses, then whoever becomes the owner of takwa (spiritual armor) and cleanses the soul (completely from of vices) on them there is no fear nor do they grieve.

And those who belie our Verses and treat them with arrogance, these are the inmates of the Fire, they shall abide in it forever.

Who is more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah or belie His Verses? They are those who will receive their portion of the Book (Qur’an). When Our messengers (the angel of death and his assistants) come to them then killing them, they (the angels) told them: “Where is that which you used to call upon besides Allah”? They said: “They are gone away from us”. And they bore witness against themselves (their own souls) that they were disbelievers.

He (Allah) said: “Enter into the Fire among the nations of the jinn and men who have passed away before you”. Whenever a nation enters there back to back, it curses their siblings (who caused them to be in Darkness). And the next spoke about the previous ones: “Our Lord! These left us in Darkness, so give them a double torment of the Fire!” Allah (said): “For everyone, there is double (torment) but you do not know”.

And the previous ones said to the next: “So you have no superiority over us”. Therefore, taste the torment for what you used to earn (for negative degrees).

Surely as for those who deny Our Verses and treat them with haughtiness, the gates of heaven will not be opened for them (they cannot render their sprits back to Allah in their lifetime), nor shall they enter paradise until the camel pass through the eye of the needle. This is how We punish the sinners (the guilty).

For them there is a bed (of fire) in Hell and over them coverings (of fire). Thus do We requite the tyrants.

And those who believe (who are âmenû, who wish to reach their spirits to Allah while they are living) and do righteous acts (that cleans their souls’ hearts), We do not burden any soul beyond its scope. They are the owners (dwellers) of paradise, in it they shall abide forever.

We removed whatever of vices (in their souls’ hearts) in their breasts. The rivers flow under them and they said: “All praise is due to Allah Who has guided us to this (to paradise), and never could we have attained to Return (Hidayet), had it not been that Allah had turned us! Certainly, the Messengers of our Lord did come with the truth”. And it is cried out to them: “This is paradise of which you are made heirs for what you used to do”.

And the people of paradise called out to the people of the Fire (Hell): “Surely we have found what our Lord promised us true”. Have you too found what your Lord promised you true? They say: “Yes”. Then a crier amongst them cried: “May the Curse of Allah be on the tyrants”.

They hinder from the Way of Allah and seek to make it (the Way of Allah) crooked and they are disbelievers in the hereafter (in the spirit’s reaching Allah before death).

And between them, there is a veil and on Al-A’râf (at the highest hills) there are men who recognize all by their faces. They called out to the people of paradise who did not enter it yet, but hope: “Peace be on you”.

And when their eyes are turned towards the people of the Fire (Hell), they said: “Our Lord! Do not reunite us with unjust people”!

And the people of Al-A’râf called out to the men whom they recognize by their countenance: “What you gathered and haughtily behavior did not benefit you”?

(It is said to the people of Hell): “Are these about whom you swore that Allah will not reach them with His mercy”? (And it is said to the people of Paradise): “Enter Heaven! There is no fear on you nor do you grieve”.

And the people of the Fire (Hell) called out to the people of Paradise: “Pass to us some water or that which Allah has given you as sustenance”. (People of Paradise) said: “Allah has forbidden them both to the disbelievers”.

They are the ones who took their religion as an amusement and play and whom the life of the world beguiled. So this Day We forget them as they forgot their meeting of this Day, and as they used to deny Our Signs knowingly.

And I swear that We brought them a Book, and for people who became âmenû (who wish to reach Allah before death), We explained (it) separately with knowledge, as a Return (a guide to the submission of the spirit, physical body, soul and free will to Allah) and a Mercy (Light).

Do they only look at its interpretation? On the Day when its interpretation came, those who have befor forgotten say: “Indeed the Messengers of our Lord have come with the truth”. Are there for us then any intercessors so that they should intercede for us? Or could we be sent back (to life on earth) so that we should do other than those which we did? Indeed, they have failed their souls and that which they invented has gone away from them.

Surely your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in Six Days, then He rose over the heaven of heavens. The night gets covered with the day which is in haste to follow it. And the sun and the moon and the stars are subjected to His Command. Surely His is the Creation and the Command, is it not? Blessed is Allah, Lord of the Worlds, the Most Exalted.

Call on your Lord as you plead and in secret. He does not love those who exceed the limits.

And do not spread lawlessness in the earth after reformation and call on Him with fear and hope. Surely the Mercy of Allah is near to the Muhsinîn.

And He it is Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, before His Mercy (rain). When they (the winds) have carried a heavy- laden cloud, We sent it to a land that is dead, then We spilled water, then We produced every kind of crop therewith. Similarly, We bring forth the dead that you may deliberate.

And as for the beautiful land (where the soil is fertile), its vegetation springs forth by the Permission of its Lord, and that which is bad (unproductive, barren), its herbage is given forth but sparsely. Thus, do We explain in detail Our Verses for a people who are thankful.

I swear that We sent Noah to his people. Then he said: “O my people! Be servants to Allah! You have no god other than Him. Surely I fear for you the torment of a greatest Day”!

The eminent among his people said: “Most surely we see you in clear Darkness”.

He (Noah) said: “O my people! I am not in Darkness, and however I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds.

I convey to you the messages of my Lord and give good counsel to you. And I learn from Allah what you do not know”.

Do you wonder that a Reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you, that he might warn you and that you might have spiritual armor (Takwâ) and so that you might receive mercy (get the light)?

But they refuted him, so We saved him and those with him in the Ark. And we drowned those who belied Our Verses. Surely, they became a blind people.

And to Aad (People) their brother, Hûd said: “O my people! Be a servant to Allah! There is no deity for you other than Him. Will you then still have no Takwâ”?

The eminents of those who disbelieved from amongs his people said: “Most surely we see you in folly, and most surely we think you to be of the liars”.

He (Hud) said: “O my people! There is no folly in me; but I am a Messenger of the Lord of the worlds.

I convey to you the messages of my Lord and I am a trustworthy counsel”.

And do you wonder that a Reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you that he might warn you? Remember when He made you successors after Noah’s people (replaced you with them) and increased you amply in strength (created your physical bodies big and strong) So remember the gifts of Allah upon you, that you may attain to the Salvation.

They said: “Have you come to us that we may be servants to Allah alone and give up what our fathers used to worship”? Then bring to us what you promise us (torment), if you are of the truthful.

He (Hud) said: “Indeed torment and Wrath from your Lord have lighted (come) upon you. Do you wrangle with me about names (the idol) which you and your fathers have named? Allah has not sent any proof to it. Then just wait. Indeed, I am with you among those who wait”.

Then (after that event) We saved him and those with him by Mercy (special Light) from Us and We eradicated (eliminated the generation) of those who belied our Verses and were not believers.

And to (the people of) Thamûd their brother Sâlih said: “O my people! Become a servant to Allah! You have no god other than Him. A clear miracle (proof) indeed has come to you from your Lord. This is the she-camel of Allah, a sign (miracle) to you. So let her feed in Allah’s earth (freely) and do not touch her with any harm (with evil intention), otherwise a painful torment seizes you”.

And remember (He) made you successors after Aad and settled you in the earth. You make palaces on its plains and carve out houses in the mountains. So, remember the gifts of Allah and do not spread lawlessness in the land, spreading lawlessness.

The eminent of those who behaved proudly among his people said to those who believed from among them who were considered weak: “Do you know that Sâlih is sent by his Lord”? They said: “Surely we are the believers in what he has been sent with”.

Those who were haughty said: “Surely we are the deniers of what you believe in”.

So they slaughtered the (she) camel and revolted against their Lord’s Commandment (crossed the line) and they said: “O Sâlih! Bring us what you promised us (the torment), if you are a sent Messenger”.

So the earthquake seized them and they remained kneeled down in their lands.

Then (Sâlih) turned away from them and said: “O my people, I did certainly deliver to you the Message of my Lord and I counseled you, but you do not love the counselors”.

And Lot said to his people: “What! Do you bring an indecency which any one has not brought before you in the Worlds?

Most surely you also come to males with passion besides females. No, you are unbridled people”.

And the answer of his people was no other than that they said: “Turn them out of our land; surely they are a pure people”.

So, We rescued him and his household, except his wife; she was of those who remained behind.

And We rained down on them a rain (of stones). Look then what was the end of the guilty (sinner).

And to (the people of) Midian their brother Shu’ayb said: “O my people! Be servants to Allah, you have no god other than Him. A clear proof (a miracle) indeed has come to you from your Lord, therefore give full measure and full weight and do not diminish to men the value of their things. Do not spread lawlessness in the earth after its reform. This is better for you if you are believers.

And do not sit (on) every path, threatening and turning away from Allah’s Way those who have become amenu (become true believers) to Him. And you are seeking to make it (Allah’s Way) crooked. And remember when you were few, then He multiplied you, and look what was the end of those who spread lawlessness.

And if there is a party (group) of you who believe in that which I have been sent with and a party who do not believe, then have patience until Allah judges between us; and He is the Best of the judges”.

The eminent of those who were arrogant among his people said: “We will most certainly drive you out, O Shu’ayb, and (also) those who became amenu (wished to return their spirit to Allah before death) with you from our land or you shall come back to our nation (religion)”. (Shu’ayb) said: “Even though we dislike it”?

Indeed we shall have forged a lie against Allah if we go back to your nation (religion) after Allah has delivered us from it. And it does not befit us that we should go back to it, except if Allah our Lord should will. Our Lord encompasses all things with His Knowledge. In Allah we put our trust. Our Lord, separate between us and our people with truth. And You are the Best of the conquerors.

And the eminent of those who disbelieved from among his people said: If you follow Shu’ayb, You shall then most surely be losers (be of those who make their souls fall into loss).

So a severe earthquake seized them. Upon that they remained on their knees in their own land.

Those who denied Shu’ayb were as though they had never dwelt therein. Those who denied Shu’ayb, they were the losers (they caused their souls to fall into loss).

So (Shu’ayb) turned away from them and said: “Certainly I delivered to you the messages of my Lord and I gave you good advice. How shall I then be sorry for a disbelieving people”?

There is no country in which We would send a prophet without subjecting its inhabitants to distress and affliction in order that they pray.

Then We changed the evil for the good. So that they increased in number and in wealth they said: “Severe efficiency and abundance also touched Our fathers (they did not think it was from Allah and did not learn a lesson)”. So We seized them suddenly when they were conscious of it.

If the people of that country had believed (had been âmenû, had wished to reach their spirit to Allah before death) and had had takwa (spiritual armor), We would certainly have opened up for them abundance from the heaven and the earth. But they rejected. So, We seized (punished) them on account of what they used to earn.

Or were the people of those countries sure of Our severe punishment not coming (coming) to them by night while they were asleep?

And were the people of those countries sure of Our severe punishment not coming (coming) to them in the forenoon while they indulge in fun?

Were they then sure of Allah’s trick? Only the people in loss cannot feel secure from Allah’s trick (from punishment).

And after the (previous) inhabitants of her (that country), will He not return (the spirit to Himself) those who have inherited the earth? If We had willed, We would have caused (calamities) to come upon them for their sins and We would have sealed up their hearts forever so they would not hear.

101

Such are the countries that We relate to you their news. Certainly, their Messengers came to them with the clear proofs (miracles). But they did not believe because of what they had belied earlier. Thus, does Allah set forever a seal over the hearts of the disbelievers.

102

We did not find for most of them fulfilling (loyal to their) covenant. And, most of them We found to be certainly in ungodliness.

103

Then, We sent (commissioned) after them Moses with Our Verses (miracles) to Pharaoh and his nobility, but they were unjust toward them; consider then what was the end of those who spread lawlessness.

104

And Moses said: “O Pharaoh! Surely, I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds (commissioned by Him).

105

It is not appropriate for me to say anything but the truth about Allah, Who is the Truth. I have come to you indeed with clear proof (miracle) from your Lord; therefore, send with me the Sons of Israel”.

106

He (Pharaoh) said: “If you have come with a Sign (miracle), then show it, if you are of the truthful ones”.

107

So (Moses) threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent (dragon), manifest!

108

And when he drew forth his hand (from his bosom) it was white for the beholders.

109

The eminent of Pharaoh’s people said: “Most surely he is an expert sorcerer”.

110

(Pharaoh asked the eminent of his people about Moses:) “He wants to get you out of your land, so what do you say (advise)”?

111

They said: “Let him and his brother wait and you send collectors into the cities.

112

That they may bring to you every expert sorcerer”.

113

And so all the sorcerers came to Pharaoh (and) said: “We must surely have a reward if we are the victors”.

114

(Pharaoh) said: “Yes, and you shall certainly be of those brought near (to me)”.

115

They said: “O Moses! Will you cast, or shall we be the first to cast”?

116

(Moses) said: “Cast! So when they cast, they bewitched the eyes of the people and overawed them, and they produced a mighty magic”.

117

And We revealed to Moses, to Cast his staff. When he cast it swallowed up all the falsehood which they faked!

118

Thus was the truth vindicated and what they did was made vain.

119

Thus they were vanquished there and they went back abased.

120

And the sorcerers rushed to bow down.

121

They said: “We believed in the Lord of the Worlds,

122

the Lord of Moses and Aaron”.

123

Pharaoh said: “Did you believe in him before I have given you permission”? Indeed, this is a conspiracy which you conspired in the city to expel therefrom its people. But soon you shall come to know (learn).

124

I will certainly cut off your hands and your feet from opposite sides, then I will hang you all”.

125

They said: “Indeed, we are the ones who turned back (during life) to our Lord.

126

And you do not take vengeance on us except because we have believed in the Verses of our Lord when they came to us. Our Lord! Pour out on us patience and cause us to die Submitted (submitting the spirit, physical body, soul and free will)”.

127

And the eminent of Pharaoh’s people said: “Will you leave Moses and his people to spread lawlessness in the land and to abandon you and their gods”? (Pharaoh) said: “We will kill their sons and let live their women, and we have indeed irresistible power over them”.

128

Moses said to his people: “Ask help from Allah and be patient”! Verily, the earth is Allah’s. He causes such of His servants to inherit it as He wills, and the end (victory) is for the owners of Takwâ (spiritual armor).

129

They said: “We were suffering both before you came and after what you brought us”. (Moses) said: “It may be that your Lord will destroy your enemy and make you successors (rulers to replace them) in the earth”. Thus He will see how you act (behave).

130

And certainly, We overtook Pharaoh’s family with droughts and diminution of fruits that they may deliberate.

131

But when good befell them, they said: “This is our right”. And when evil afflicted them, they attributed it to the ill-omen of Moses and those with him; surely their ill-omen is only from Allah, is not it? But most of them do not know.

132

And they said: “Whatever verse (miracle) you may bring to us to charm us with it, we will not believe in you”.

133

Therefore We sent on them the flood and the locusts and the lice and the frogs and the blood as distinct miracles. But they behaved haughtily and they became a sinful (guilty) people.

134

And when the torment fell upon them, they said: O Moses, invoke for us your Lord by a covenant (of prophet-hood) He bestowed upon you. If you remove the torment from us, we will certainly believe in you and we will certainly send away with you the Sons of Israel.

135

When, before their end (before their death), We delivered them from torment, they broke their words (their promises).

136

We took revenge on them and drowned them in the sea because they belied Our verses and were ignorant of them.

137

And We made the people who were deemed weak to inherit the eastern parts of the land and the western ones which We had blessed. And the beautiful word of your Lord was fulfilled for the Sons of Israel because of their patience. We utterly destroyed what Pharaoh and his people had done and what they built.

138

And We shipped over the Sons of Israel to pass the sea; then they came upon a people who kept to the worship of their idols. They said: “O Moses! Make for us a god as they have their gods”. Moses said: “Surely you are a people acting ignorantly”.

139

Surely they are destroyed for that which they are engaged in (their religion). And all that they are doing is in vain.

140

(Moses) said: “Shall I seek for you a god other than Allah while He has made you excel above the worlds”?

141

And We had rescued you from Pharaoh’s family who subjected you to severe torment, killing your sons and letting your women live. And in this there was a great trial from your Lord.

142

We promised Moses thirty nights and completed them with ten. So, the appointed time of his Lord was completed to forty nights. And Moses said to his brother Aaron: “Replace me among my people and purify (and destroy the vices of their souls) and do not follow the way of those who spread lawlessness”.

143

And when Moses (Mûsâ) came at Our appointed time his Lord spoke to him. (Moses) said: “My Lord! Show me (Yourself), that I may look upon You”. (Allah) said: “You can never see Me, but look at the mountain. If it can stand still in its place, then you shall see Me”. When his Lord acted upon to the mountain, He made it crumble and Moses fell down unconscious. Then when recovered, he said: “Glory be to You, I turn to You in repentance and I am the first of the believers”.

He (Allah) said: “O Moses! Surely, I have chosen you above the mankind with My Message and with My Word. Therefore, take hold of what I gave to you and be of the grateful ones”.

145

And We wrote for him (Moses) on the Tablets an admonition and the detailed explanation of all things. So, take hold of them firmly and enjoin your people to take hold of what is best thereof. I will show you the abode of the ungodly ones.

146

I will turn away from My Verses those who are unjustly proud in the earth. If they see every verse they will not believe in it. If they see the way of Rushd (way of Return, way of Paradise), they do not take it for a way, and if they see the way of Gayy (way of Darkness, way of Hell), they take it for a way. This is because they belied our Verses and were heedless of them.

147

And those who reject Our Verses and the meeting of the Hereafter (the spirit’s reaching Allah while living), their deeds are vain (null). Shall they be punished except for what they used do?

148

And after him (after the departure of Musa A.S. to Mount Tur = Sinai), the people of Musa (A.S.) made a statue of a mooing calf (as god) out of their ornaments. Do they not see that it did not speak to them nor guide them to a way return? They took it (for a god) and they became tyrants.

149

When they came to their senses and saw that they had fallen into Darkness. They said: “If our Lord does not have mercy upon us and forgive us (don't replace our sins with good), we will surely be among the losers”.

150

And when Moses returned to his people (from the Presence of Allah) wrathful (and) in violent grief (Allah had said to him that his people had deviated from the Way of Allah in 20/Tâ-hâ:85) he said to them: “What an evil successor you have been to me after me (in my absence)”! Would you hasten on the order of your Lord? And he put down the Tablets, and he seized his brother by the head, dragging him towards him. (Aaron) said: “O son of my mother! Surely (this) people did find me weak and almost killed me. Therefore make not the enemies to rejoice over me and do not make me on the same level with the unjust people”.

(Moses) said: “My Lord! Forgive (replace our sins with good) me and my brother and cause us to enter into Your mercy and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful ones”.

152

Those who took the calf (for a god), surely Wrath from their Lord and humiliation in this world’s life shall come upon them, and thus do We recompense the slanderers.

153

And (if) those who do evil deeds (that make one lose degrees), then after that (after their atrocities) repented (before the religious guide-Murshid) and became (for the second time) amenu, then indeed Oft-Forgiving (the One who replaces sins with good), Most Merciful (the One who sends the light of Mercy)!

154

And when Moses’ anger calmed down, he took up the Tablets. In one of the Tablets was Return (the wish to return their spirit to Allah before death and submission of spirit, physical body, soul and free will to Allah) and that is Mercy (light) for those who fear their Lord.

155

And Moses chose out of his people seventy men for Our appointed time of meeting. When the earthquake overtook them, he said: “My Lord! If You had willed, You would have destroyed me and them before. Will you destroy us for what the foolish ones among us have done? It is only Your trial by which You leave in Darkness, whom You will, and You will turn (to Yourself), whom You will. You are our Friend, so forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best of the forgiver (of sins).

156

And write for us in this world and in the Hereafter (on the Day of Resurrection, on the day of true life) good (good deeds, positive degrees). Surely We have repented and turned to You”. Allah said: “I afflict with My Torment whom I will and My Mercy encompasses all things. So I will write it (the good) for those who have spiritual armor (takwa) and pay the alms (Zakât), they are those who believe in Our Verses”.

157

They obeyed the Messenger, the Prophet, the Illiterate (Ummi) whom they find written in the Torah and the Gospel. He commands them with divine knowledge good (the commands of Allah) and forbids them Evil (deny) and allow them to be pure and beautiful. And removes from them their burdens (the heaviness of their sins by replacing their sins with good) and the fetters which were upon them (the tie that fastens the spirit to the physical body and the golden chain with 7 links on the Door of Conquest at the seventh Celestial Level). So, they believed in him and honored him and helped him and followed the Light (the Qur’ân) which has been sent down with him. These it is that are the ones in Salvation (have the Bliss in the Hereafter and happiness in this worldly life).

158

Say: “O mankind! Surely, I am the Messenger of Allah (sent) to you all. It is Him Whose is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. There is no god but He. It is He Who gives life and causes death. Therefore, become amenu to Allah and His Messenger, the Prophet, the Illiterate who believes in Allah and His Words. And obey him, so that you return (spirit to Him in life)”.

159

And of the people of Moses, there is a Community who turn to the Truth (return to Allah) and rule justice with it (truth).

160

And We divided them into twelve tribes, as nations. We revealed to Moses when his people asked him for water: ‘Strike the rock with your staff, so there gushed forth out of it twelve springs’. Each tribe knew their drinking place. And We caused the cloud to overshadow them. And sent down for them manna and the quails. Eat of the good and clean things with which We have provided you! They did not wrong Us but they used to wrong their own souls.

161

And they were told: “Dwell in this town and eat from it wherever you wish and ask for forgiveness (of Allah) and enter the gate as you bow down”. So, We shall forgive your wrong-doings and even increase more for the Muhsinîn (those who have submitted their physical bodies to Allah).

But those of them who did unjustness changed the word that had been spoken to them for another saying. So, We sent down upon them torment from heaven because of their unjustness.

163

And ask them about the town that was (once) by the sea. They exceed the limits of the Sabbath (Saturday), when the fish come to them on the day of their Sabbath (on the day when the prohibition was carried out), appearing on the surface of the water. And on the day on which they do not keep the Sabbath (on the day when the prohibition was not carried out) (the fish) do not come to them. Thus did We try them because they were in ungodliness.

164

And when a party of them said: “Why do you admonish a people whom Allah would destroy or whom He would torment with a severe torment”? They said: “So that this should be an excuse to your Lord and that they may (with this admonition) have spiritual armor (Takwa)”.

165

So when they forgot what they had been advised with, We rescued those who forbade evil. And We seized those who did unjustness with an evil torment because they were in ungodliness.

166

Therefore when they revoltingly persisted in what they had been forbidden, We said to them: “Be despised apes”.

167

And your Lord declared that He would certainly keep on sending against them till the Day of Resurrection those who would subject them to an evil torment. Surely your Lord is Quick to requite and most surely He is Oft-Forgiving (Replacing sins with good), Most Merciful (Sending light Rahmet).

168

And We divided them up on the earth into nations. Some of them being Sâlihûn (righteous) and some others (unrighteous). And We tried them with good (with good deeds that cause them to earn the positive degrees) and evil (evil deeds that cause them to earn the negative degrees) that perhaps they might return (to Allah).

169

Then after them, their successors (took over), which inherited the Book. They grasp the frail goods of this low life and say: “Soon we will be forgiven (our sins will be replaced with good)”. And if the like of earthly goods came to them, they would take them as well. Was not the Covenant of the Book taken from them that they would not say about Allah anything but the truth? And they have studied (read) what is in it. The abode of the Hereafter is better for those who are the owners of spiritual armor (Takwâ). Do you not then still be mindful?

170

Those who hold fast to the Book and keep up the Prayer (As- Salât). Surely, We do not annul the reward of those who are Sâlihûn (righteous).

171

And when We raised the Mount over them to be a shadow, they thought that it was going to fall down on them. Hold firmly to what We have given you and remember (fulfill) what is in it (commands and prohibitions) so that you may be the owners of spiritual armor (Takwâ).

172

And when your Lord brought forth from the Sons of Adam, from their backs their progeny and made them bear witness against their own souls. (Allah said:) “Am I not your Lord”? They said: “Yes, (You are our Lord) we bear witness”, lest you should say (suddenly you say) on the Day of Resurrection: “Verily, we did not know about it”.

Or lest you shouldn't say (suddenly you say): “It was our forefathers who associated others (with Allah) and we were an offspring after them. Will you then destroy us for what the vain doers did?”

174

And thus do We explain Our Verses in detail, so that they may return (to Allah).

175

And read (explain) to them the narrative of him to whom We gave Our Verses, and then he left them. So, Satan has made his obeyed to himself and he became one of the harmed.

176

And if We had willed, We would certainly have exalted him with it (Our Verses). But he clung to the earth and followed his own vain desire (vices of his soul). So his parable is as the parable of a dog: “if you swipe at him, he sticks out his tongue, and if you leave him alone, he also sticks out his tongue”. This is the parable of the people who deny Our Verses. Therefore relate the narrative that they may reflect.

177

How bad is the position of those people who reject Our Verses. And they did evil to their souls.

178

Whom Allah returns (to Himself), he has already returned. And whomsoever is left in Darkness, these are the losers (who have caused their souls to fall into Loss).

179

And surely, We have prepared Hell for many of the jinn and the mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand. They have eyes with which they do not see. They have ears with which they do not hear. They are like animals. Even in more Astray misguided. Those, they are the heedless ones.

180

And the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allah, therefore call on Him by them (with His Names)! Leave those who distort (the meanings of) the Names of Allah. Soon they will be requited for what they have been doing.

181

And of those whom We have created, there are such group who return to Truth (Allah) and by this they judge with justice.

182

And for those who reject Our verses, We will gradually reduce the degrees from where they will not know (and thus slowly bring them closer to destruction).

183

And I grant them time, surely My intrigue is strong (effective, unbearable).

184

Do they not reflect that there is no insanity (madness) in their owner (in Mohammed SAV). He is but a plain Warner.

185

Do they not look in the Sovereignty (management) of the heavens and the earth and whatever things Allah has created, and that it may be that their own term draws near? In what word after this do they believe (become a believer)?

186

Whomsoever Allah leaves in Darkness, there is already for him no who return (Teacher who returns his spirit to Allah). And He leaves them to wander in his own disobedience.

187

They ask you about the Hour (Doomsday), when will be its taking place. Say: “The Knowledge of it is only with my Lord. None can reveal its time except Him”. It was heavy for the heavens and the earth; it does not come upon you except all of a sudden. They ask you as though you are well informed of it. Say: “Knowledge of it is with Allah only”. But most of mankind do not know.

188

Say: “For myself I have no power to benefit, nor power to harm, except that which Allah wills and if I had known the Unseen, I should have certainly increased the good and no evil should have touched me. I am but a Warner and a bearer of glad tidings to a people who believe”.

189

He is the One Who created you from one soul (from one person: Adam), and in order to find rest with her, He created a spouse (Eve) for him from her. So, when he covered her (by embracing her) she bore a light burden (got pregnant), then moved about with it. But when it became heavy, they both called upon Allah, their Lord: “If you give us a righteous child, we shall certainly be of the grateful ones”.

190

But when We gave them an righteous child, they (subsequent people) set up with Him associates in what He had given them (Adam and Eve). Yet exalted is Allah above what they associate with Him.

191

Do they attribute as partners to Allah those who created nothing while they are themselves created?

192

And they (idols) have no power to give help them, nor can they help themselves.

193

And if you call them to Hidayet (to the submitted of the spirit, body, soul and will of Allah), they do not follow you. Did you call them or did you remain silent for you the same thing?

194

Surely those whom you call on besides Allah are servants like you. So, call on them, then let them answer you if you are truthful.

195

Have they feet with which they walk or have they hands with which they hold, or have they eyes with which they see, or have they ears with which they hear? Say: “Call your associates, then plot against Me, and give Me no respite.

196

Surely my Friend is Allah, who sent down the Book and He is the Walî (Friend) of the Sâlihîn (righteous).

197

And those whom you call upon besides Allah are not able to help you, nor can they help themselves”

198

And if you call them to Hidayet (to return spirit to Allah before death) they do not hear. And you see them looking towards you, yet they do not see.

199

Be forgiving and with divine knowledge command to doing good, and turn your back on ignorants.

200

And if Satan begins to tempt you, seek refuge in Allah. Surely, He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

201

Those who are the owners of spiritual armor (Takwa), when a whisper from Satan troubles them, they communicate (with Allah) and they see (with the faculty of seeing of their hearts’ eyes).

202

And their (Satan’s) brothers plunge them further into Hell. They never give-up (on that).

203

And when you do not bring them a Verse, they said: “Is it not possible for you to compose it yourself? Say: “I follow only what is revealed to me from my Lord”; these are the insights (the help that ensure the seeing of the hearts’ eyes) from your Lord and Hidayet (which causes spirit to reach Allah) and a mercy (light) for a people who believe (for a people in the hearts of whom the Faith is written)”.

And when the Qur'ân is recited, then listen to it and remain silent, that you may be delivered to Mercy (that the light of rahmet was sent into your hearts).

205

And praise silently your Lord within yourself and imploring and with fear in the mornings, and in the evenings and do not be of the heedless ones.

206

Verily, those who are with your Lord (those who pray in the seventh heaven before the Lord) are not arrogant in worshiping Him, and they glorify Him and bow down before Him!

Al-An'am

Al-Anfal

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ وَيُسَبِّحُونَهُ وَلَهُ يَسْجُدُونَ ۩

Innallazeena inda raabbika lea yastakbiroona aan ibaadatihee va yusabbihoonahu va lahu yascudoon(yascudoona). (SACDA EAYATI)

Verily, those who are with your Lord (those who pray in the seventh heaven before the Lord) are not arrogant in worshiping Him, and they glorify Him and bow down before Him!
